I had one of these volumes that I got from the auction house, in 4.3, and it vanished from my bank. According to a GM ticket:

Unfortunately, there is a known issue where the Enchanted Thorium Platemail volumes were not all correctly removed from the game. Please note that these volumes and the associated quests no longer exist in game and cannot be used to complete these quests as they were all deprecated when The Shattering was released. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but these quests can no longer be completed and all of these volumes were supposed to be removed from the game.

I found this last night of o Orc or Dragonkin in UBRS. Wasn't boss or anything just reg mob.

Drop rate looks so low because he was killed like 1800 times before this thing started dropping, will take forever for it to even out and show a number at all close to his drop rate

Got them in a run I did last week. Bought second half now I have them. Just need to get my Blacksmith up to 50+

I just got the top half of volume 1 from the Ogre King in DM North. Gl in farming it. I hope to get the bottom part soon, going to BRS^^

The Volume 1 lower half dropped from one of the Blackhand mobs in UBRS (right before Beast), nonnamed, random mob drop.

If anyone needs the lower half on Doomhammer, mail Rokir, i can get it to either horde or alliance.

Bottom half, UBRS
Top half, Dire Maul North

Combine, get a book requiring 300 BS and take it to DM library, Learn Enchanted thorium BP or leggings (not sure)

I don't really understnad.

I have both halves but I just need 12 bars 'till 50.

After combining the two parts what do I do?

What is the minimum skill of blacksmithing do I need to do this?
