As of patch 4.3, 幼虫酸液 is now grey quality (vendor trash) and the reagents for the following patterns have been changed.

I'd assume this was added in the patch, it's pretty nice for, you guessed it, HUNTERS! w00t it's nice to finally see something in endgame leatherworking that I can actually use besides the black dragonscale shtuffs.

These add even more ranged DPS than Beaststalker's, but man, that acid is going to be a real $%^&* to get...

Hmm, you can buy raw food and cook it yourself cheap, but instead people go to restaurants and pay a premium, why? Convenience and quality, simply put, they can cook better...if someone invests the effort into building their leather skill (300!) and picks up this rather rare drop, they have every right to charge a premium. 15g is a reasonable mark-up for the service of making it when someone provides the mats. You can bet, if I gather mats myself to make and sell on speculation, I'll be marking up more than 15g.

Personally, I keep hemming and hawing over these vs. the Beaststalkers already on my wrist. +11 seems a very small adder to ranged attack power, and you lose melee ap, dodge, and crit. All for the low price of 65-70g. Hmm, just talked myself out of a pair :)

The mats are randomly difficult. 60 Iron feathers is easy, Kill the owl beasts in North winter spring, they drop 2/3 per time.

The Larval acids are probably the hardest, since the Drop rate is dead low. I grinded 3, was given 1 and bought the rest (between 5-8g each)

Leather is dead cheap, and the Cured Hides around 4g each in AH.

Take the time, its generally cheaper.

Larval acid can be a pain to get - drops off of Eastern Plagueland carrion grubs.

Larval acid on Garona goes for 10g apiece...I doubt anyone would ever pay for these bracers (total mats cost alone would be over 105g)...

my names torvus on gorggonash(might be spelled wrong) and on ah its only usually 20g at the most and id say its not worth the trouble for all the mats and time you spent on them when you can go get more money in a high lvl instance. do whatever you want but it's a waste of time

Well..
after my oppinion most of the items with DS-leatherworking that you can learn by recipe WITHOUT reputation is shammy stuff except Black dragonscale.

Dreamscale Breastplate is ffs nice, indeed.. but you go get exalted with Cenarion Circle.

Blue, green and red dragonscale are for shammys.
ffs.. pretty annoying tbh..

So, I don't know about the prices for alliance, but to craft these bracers will either result in a whole lot of grinding, or pay a lot of gold.

1x Larval Acid = 10-12G
1x Cured Rugged Hide = 10-12G

and only this makes the bracers worth (done crafted) 120-140G ++

and that's insane for such a crappy item. And agi is much better for hunter imho.. more crit :)

Ok... This is leather with ranged AP... Since hunters can use Mail at level 40 i reckon you cant say these are for hunter. Still they are the only who need ranged AP.... i dont get it : /
