As of Patch 4.0.3a (Cataclysm), this set along with all Dungeon 1 sets from the WoW-Classic era have been removed.

If you crave the look of this kilt, you can still get a re-colored version from Reinforced Fel Iron Chest in Hellfire Ramparts (Burning Crusade non-heroic): Kilt of Rolling Thunders

I have the Leggings, which are good enough for now. However, another set drops in DM (Silvermoon Leggings) which I believe to be a bit better. The Kilt is not as good as those IMO.

wth it have so low drop rate comparing to other classes set items? Almost all items from elements has a damn low chance. I done D strat about 20 times
only dropped once (i lost) but shadowcraft and beaststalker many times.

I know what you mean, I have done scholo a crapload of times trying to get our set helm and the @*(*!&^* Dreadmist Mask drops EVERY TIME. I guess this is Blizzard's nerf to shamans, they drive us to suicide by forcing us to grind these damn instances endlessly :).

Im a 60 Shaman and the MA for every guild raid except for MC and Onyxia.

I have JUST short of 5k AC and about 3.7k HP unbuffed. I'm a melee machine and will drop nearly anyone (except well-played rogues) in any 1on1 PvP be it duel or otherwise.

Any Shamans who say they cant melee, and are primarily ele or enh spec, you're a whiney $%^&*. If you are resto spec, then you're right. Stay back and heal.

If you're none of the above, yet state that all Shammies cannot melee, I beg you to make a lvl 60 ANYTHING and bring it to Cenarius so I can embarrass you in front of your friends and family. Bring cash tho, cuz I dont duel unless Im betting at least 5g on it.

I do salute rogues who know they're characters flawlessly, as there is little that can be done to prevent my 5g from goin to your pocket... :)

Damn cold blood 2x... god that hurts.. thank goodness for my https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=26827/60-test-green-druid-wrist or else I'd have a much harder time... oh by the way.. if this armor procs in the middle of a duel against any rogue.. you're done. Big props to Killtoy for hooking it up.

I play a 60 shaman with elemental and enhancement specs with no points in restoration. I use two handed axe with rockbiter on. I cast shock then hit with the axe during cool down. I run a damage meter program that ranks the group. I am always the top or second highest damage dealer. The only class that can deal more damage than a melee Shaman with elemental specs is the ice mage. Some of you who posted at the top of this page may want to reconsider what you are talking about. And i agree the only class that beats me in duels consistantly is a well played rogue. We are a very powerfull class once you learn to play it right. And remember the priest is the healer we only take over when he runs out of mana. :)

I totally agree with EloX. I built an Enhancement Shaman for my Troll (higher agility to start with) and Grace of Air totem (Agility Totem) brings to the mid 21% with a chance to crit. Now with each crit, an enchancement Shaman will get 30% increased weapon speed for 15s. Now tell me that is not a thing to be feared as in some fights he may keep that 30% increased speed for the full duration. That 3.00 speed 2-H weapon now moves at a speed of 2.10 I'm sure you can do the math for the weapon of your choice.

Think about it for one sec...most casters just stand back and cast as they have timed casts. But Shamans have mostly instant cast spells that are used while meleeing. You will spend more of the fight in melee combat, then you will casting. Think about what happens when you get silenced? Do you sit back and run around like the mage spamming your spells in hopes it just might go off even though you are silenced? My 2900 mana points usually last throughout the fight, but if not, no worries as it only add to my dps from melee damge and and the occational heal if the healer is havig a tough time keeping up.

Restoration spec'ed Shaman's should do little in the way of melee if they are the groups main healer. Elemental Shaman just continually pound on the mobs with their weapon of the choice to aid in their dps till they can do the next shock.

Next time you (A Shaman) think agility and strength are not good, please review the talent tree options and see what else is out there. Just because 9/10 Shamans do not play the Enchancement and do an intel/stamina build, does not mean that it sucks, but can be a very valuable backup tank/damage dealer in battle. Matter of fact, this is my role in most 5/10 man instance runs I ever do.

Blizzard even calls shaman "a jack of all trades but a master of none." Enh does good melee damage, but not the best. Resto is good healing and mana regen, but not the best. Ele is good spell damage... you see where I'm going with this. As far as str/agi go; Blizz knew we'd have low stats for those because of equipment, why else would we get GoA and SoE? Shaman ftw.

I'm a healing Shaman. I know that may shock some of you, but i'm 10/11/30, 30 in resto, with 5800mana unbuffed, +mana every 5seconds, +healing, and only ONE piece of cloth.

I like to pretend i heal on par with some priests. I was main healer for a 5man baron, and we did it, and i was healer for a group with TWO warriors in MC once, and kept them alive.

Scary, i know.

a everyone talks about getting 2000 total damage in a windfury, with crits and such. However, most seem to ignore the spell crits. I have a 30/0/21 build, and it's the best build IMO. Why? I have enough in restor to get the +5% increased crit for lightning and healing spells. I have enough in elemental for the +6% for lightning spells, and the reduced casting time for lightning spells by 1 second. Now, among the base crit chance for spells, I now have a +11% crit chance for lightning spells. Lightning spells can get a max of about 1300 (i got one that high one day with chain lightning). I do a chain lighthning, lightning bolt, and earthshock. That's about..1500 damage right there (give or take 100 damage). If one of those are crits, which they usually are, that stacks up to alot. Plus, I am virtually unhindered by weapon speed because i can earthshock, chain lightning, lightning bolt, lighting bolt, chain lightning, etc. My limit is my mana, but usually they are crushed before I can run out. The best point is that when we are silenced, we are a bit screwed. However, we can survive til that silence wears away. That's just my opinion on an elemental shaman over an enhancment. Oh, and one more thing. Those of you who praise WF+Flurry, think again. The WF usually burns off the flurry anyways, so you might get like one attack in with flurry before you WF (unless you're unlucky).

Oh it hurts. What worst can I see?Hunters wearing the Elements-st...it is a joke.
I am an Enhancement shamy (at least at the moment), and, yes, I wore some peace of the Beastalker....but only in that case, if there was no hunter in the group. I nevere ever played whit the think to roll against a hunter for his gear.
Btw I simply hate all hunter because: U take a lot of mele-weapon from classes who can REALY use them, while u dont let anybody to get the good ranged weapons, crying: "Man, I am the only ranged class...."
Ur pets are imbalanced, their speed and resist is just a sick joke from Blizzard.

And now u take the shamans set too.

Anyway the only place where u are usefull is Magmadar in MC and some parts of BRD (but there a warlock more handy).

Btw, if I am ML (and I am ML preety often in random or in guild-raid too), and a hunter trying to roll on Elements, I imediatly kick him (and I am not that kind who kick anybody from raid, I did it only once when a ninja stole some stuff and after he refused to do anything).

While this is not technically a Shaman only piece of armor, we should all know by this level that each class has it's own blue set... the hunter's being beaststalker, etc. That being said, certain classes of certain builds may want other classes' blue pieces, i.e. a combat druid wanting SC, or whatever the case may be. However, the pieces were designed with a particular class in mind, and the high intel/spi on almost all the Elements pieces will clearly benefit a Shaman more than a hunter. Not saying that hunters don't benefit from Int/Spi, but come on now... let's be fair here. If there's a Shaman in the group who wants an Elements piece, he should get first crack. If there isn't, roll away Hunts... I'd like to think that the Shaman would do the same for you when a Beaststalker piece drops. I know I would.

I have done strat baron a guhzillion times and never seen this. When it finally drops a rogue named Darkfire on daggerspine EU ninjaed this. Cause "it is worth 5 gold from vendor".

Ok, i don't know if anyone realizes but at the 60+ instances melee spec shamans get OWNED, element shamans are probably the safest way to go at the 60+ instances. IF you pvp, either way is cool to go, best spec for 60+ instance is easily a FULL RESTO build. Mana tide will make you one of the most liked characters in the game.

all the builds for shaman depend on player style and what you will use the shaman for. Ive tried all the talent trees and have to say. I liked the elemental build for dps and the resto build for raiding instances.

im a hunter and i would never roll on this it sucks for a hunter but i woudn't want shammies rolling on my Beaststalker. I have buddies on horde side that get ninjaed by hunters over elementals. Any hunter that egts this should just go kill himeslf seriously just go and get the !@#$ out of here

Everyone has a build that suits them or that they like to play with.

People in high end instances like to have the tide so they can replenish the other casters in their five man group (of course it doesn't help the rest of the raid group or it would be godlike!).

For solo play and even for five man instances, I personally think the tide sucks ass, to use the US vernacular.

1200 mana over 12 seconds every five minutes.

No thanks, I'll keep a couple of mana pots handy for emergencies and instead put a 21 pointer in enhancement for chance to parry, and perhaps increase my WF bonus by 22%

And for those who feel agil isn't useful to the shaman class, please bear in mind that improved chance to dodge, armour and chance to melee crit is fantastic.

We're never going to do as much damage doing melee as a well played and equiped rogue.

A rogue is never going to be able to heal himself during a melee fight :D

Nor will that rogue have a searing totem down, hitting the enemy for fire damage. Or a lightning shield hitting them for 225 (ish) dmg. Or fire/frost/earth shocks, dotting, slowing or interrupting whilst doing a lot of instant damage.

What's that? My mana has run out? Ok I'll just continue to melee for a few seconds whilst my spirit helps give me enough mana to heal myself again!

Ok then, who said Strength is no use to a shaman?

As it increases your melee damage and it also increase the amount of damage that can be blocked with a shield, I'd say it's pretty useful.

If you know what you're talking about, you will too.

And my final word? Wait for patch 1.12 (hopefully) when blizzard will finally do something about our lamentable 31 point talents.

When most shamen who know their class would rather have a 21 point skill (natures swiftness) then any of the three 31 point skills there must be something wrong.

The Kilt's definately a tough drop. Unless you are looking to collect the whole Elements set then upgrading them to the Five Thunders, I highly recommend not doing Strat Dead runs just to get this item alone. This instance is especially tricky and more lengthy since the raid aspect has been removed in 1.10. If you're in a guild who runs MC, I recommend going straight for the Earthfury items.

well can i just say if u go elemental spec u will pwn all think about just cast and lightning bolt then elemental mastary then chain lightning then earthshock and u got 2500 dmg in under 4seconds if you get your spec to take the casting time down to 2sec lightning bolt and 1.5sec chain lighning.

Is thottbot orrect about the drop rates on this stuff? My first run through this i got a shield with a.1% drop chance(according to thottbot) a wand(didnt check drop rate) and these legs(.8%), ive ran this about 5 or 6 times now and the pants dropped about 2/5 or 2/6 times, i really don't think that the drop rate is .8%

Drop rate is a bit of a fickle thing, i got it first drop of the Baron. Guess you've just gotta get a bit lucky, and definitely do not go with more than one shaman...

Why dont they make it so that only shaman can use this then them hunters have to get there set, its a good idea coz most people who dont play shammys dont use the pants or other parts of the set, and if you do...well...its just sad it realy is!

i swaer i have done this run at least 40-60 times even used a repair bot once because the group was noob and had red gear by the time we got to ramstien.
but the point is i really hate my unluckyness with the drop rate on this stupid kilt, i only want it because so i can upgreade it and continue my other upgreade quests, wish i could just buy the kilt

worst thing im thinking that will happen to me soon is when my alt mage starts dooing strath and if the kilf of elements drop wile im on my mage, im gonna cry :(

Im a 51 shammy and i just put a 14g bid on the bracers but gettin the rest of this set isnt soundin too fun... first of all - i cant stand doin runs over and over again. i did it once tryin to get herods shoulder/ragin berserker helm in SMArm and it took me 32 times... however strat is way longer. in SM u can walk in and bump into the boss...

just dropped for me...
the thing is, none of the legs drop a lot, because one guy drops all 10 or so sets of them... so your chances at best would only be 10%, but since he also drops other stuff (ie. runeblade and epic mount, which we certainly love) it's less.

The drop rate is 2-3% because it does NOT drop for Alliance, and in most cases there are more Alliance around that Horde.

Darkmaster Gandling, General Drakkisath and Baron Rivendare will never drop Elements gear for Alliance players, i suspect this is likely the same with Lightforge and Horde.

2-3% is not an accurate percentage. The percent could be raised somewhat more (not sure how much). I mean... you do realize that this has dropped 2-3% AND THIS INCLUDES ALLIANCE KILLS AS WELL? Obviously, a horde only item won't drop for the Alliance that has killed him.

I got on third run i pretty much got lucky i got belt as a gift from guild bought bracers kilt on thrid helm on first also shoudlers on first but i cnat seem to get vest or galuents from UBRS ive tried 19 times and the one time i saw the vest of elements i was ninjaed by ahunter who already had BS tunic and ive tried 3 times for boots but never seem them

There's nothing that says that these are Horde only (i.e., Class: Shaman). I play a Dwarf Hunter and if these dropped, I'd roll on them and gladly wear them. Of course, I'm only a lvl 50, and anything with these kind of stats impresses the hell out of me.

No reason whatsoever to get this. If you're a elemntal/healing shaman get silvermoon leggings, if you're a melee shaman get leggings of destruction. There is no reason for these legs to exist and judging by the droprate, blizzard seems to agree.

I'm just curious if anyone has seen Alliance wearing these pants... I know it's been said that Alliance can get the shoulders, just like Horde can get Lightforge shoulders, but can they actually get these leggings? I personally haven't ever seen it. Remember, I'm not saying that they can't drop, don't drop, or whatever, I'm just asking: Has anyone seen Alliance players wearing this?

Im seeing a pattern in this set......All the element set has the worst drop rate compared to other classes dungeon set...i mean seriously we know blizz favors horde and this isnt fooling anyone its just frustrating!
