This item is the Orc and Tauren Shaman starting shirt. They also start with Primitive Kilt and Worn Mace.

Troll Shaman also start with a Primitive Mantle, but theirs is blue.

I started a character just to get this mantle and kilt. I really like them. Later, I was dropped a Barbaric Cloth Robe & Barbaric Cloth Boots. The Robe looks exactly like the mantle and kilt, but it's in purple and blue instead of brown and red. =) I think there are three or four different versions of this same outfit in the game.

it seems there are two versions of this item one brown and one blue. the blue (larger) one is found starting female troll shaman. I haven't seen the other.

I rolled a bunch of troll shamans for this shirt. One is ALWAYS on my female characters. My 70 hunter wears it under the ugly pvp armor (from honor points, not arena), and my 22 shaman wears it under her Armor of the Fang. My hordies all have this shirt, even my male undead warrior. It's the coolest starting shirt in my opinion, closely followed by the Blood Elf rogue shirt.

To get the different versions, you only need horde shaman. Trolls get the blue and brown variant, whereas the orc and Tauren shaman gets the solid brown version.

To get this as an Alliance, follow these steps;

1. Roll orc/troll shaman. Kill some stuff and sell loot til you get 30 copper.
2. Leave Valley of Trials, and run to Razor Hill
3. Mail the shirt to a friend who plays horde.
-other person=
-Fly/run to any neutral Auction House. Everlook, Gadgetztan, and Booty Bay have one.
-Place it up as an auto-buy object.
-Alliance=
- Fly to any neutral Auction House.
- Search "Mantle"
- ?
- Profit!

Starting shirt for shamans -- and the graphics look quite different on troll females when compared to just about anyone else. (In other hands, it's a handkerchief, mon.)

I'm going to try to smuggle this to my nelf just to test a theory out ...
