When you zone into the raid, take the right hand path to the first boss. On a platform off to the right of the main walkway just before the boss room is a Depleted Automa laying down.

You must displace this Automa into the boss room before pulling. We used Death Grip from our Blood DK, and did not test other displacement abilities such as Typhoon or Thunderstorm, but these should work in theory.

Once it's in the boss room you can pull the boss, and kill two of the Pre-Fabricated Sentries, which will power it up fully. Once powered up it puts a large zone around it that makes other adds take reduced damage. You must then kill the add before the Exposed Core starts otherwise you'll die to the AoE. When the Depleted Automa dies, the energy it has will move to the nearest Defense Matrix Automa and power it up to be used for Exposed Core as normal.

Once it's dead you can proceed with the fight as normal.

For this achievement we had DK with a grip. We pulled the Depleted Automa to the edge of the barrier of the fight. Then we started the encounter while the add was still behind the barrier. As soon as the add was energized we pulled him with the grip into the fighting area and burst him down. If you will not kill him before the cast will go off, he will wipe the raid, so just focus only him. After you kill Automa the achievement will be secured and you can kill the boss as normal.

Vigilant Guardian - Power ON
- Power up and kill the Depleted Automa before defeating the boss.
- Before pull, use a Death Knight to grip the inactive add into the boss arena. Add location.
- Pull the boss and kill adds near the Depleted Automa to activate it.
- Once active, kill it and then defeat the boss.

Go down the right side to approach the platform. Before the boss there is a Depleted Automa on a floating platform to the right. You need to move it to the boss area next to the Automated Defense Matrix on the right.

Power up the Depleted Automa by destroying the adds near it. Once powered up it will do a large zone that reduces damage taken. This is the ideal spot to lust as you need to defeat the Depleted Automa quickly in order to power up the Automated Defense Matrix to get the Force Field for Exposed Core. Defeating the Depleted Automa will power up Automated Defense Matrix and you can proceed with the fight as normal.
