For some reason this quest was not offered to me on the 4.0.3a PTR. I found Godfrey's body then that was it. No fallow up.

Edit: For some reason I had to fight my way back to Godfrey's body by myself after the NPC's dissapeared and now I can continue the quest.

This quest is bugged and will not work if you are mounted. You must dismount, abandon and restart the RP to fix.

My client got disconnected during the dialogue that follows the turn in, and when I was able to get back on it was all said and done. Does anyone have a transcript of it? I'm sure it's just an inflated "Join us!" and "Ok!" but I'm pretty ticked I missed it

I have had this quest for 2 months and I keep going back to it while doing other Loremaster quests and I still don't see Sylvanas. I pretty much have tried everything suggested here but still no luck. 2 GMS have tried to help and 1 told me the quest is perfectly fine and not bugged? Can anyone help please?

Ok, for those of you who read the comments and still cant make it TO this quest even with the help of the Loremaster addon,(as you'll see The Forsaken Front in Silverpine Forest is void of commanders).

*Double check that you are not missing more of the pre-quests located in the Ruins of Guilneas. The quests will be located on the top of the hill at Forsaken Forward Command (56,18).*

This will eventually lead you to a quest were a valkyrie of Sylvanis' follows you to lord Godfrey's dead body at a beach (78,75). You can not get it without her :)

I"ve done the quests, but when I arrive, there is no one to turn the quest into?

I didnt complete the quest when I accepted it last week.Today I logged back in, and none of the NPC's were there. Simply abandoning the quest, and retaking it worked, so long as you talk to Lady Sylvanas Windrunner, and complete the quest right then and there.

trying to do the mission rise, godfrey but Lady Sylvanas Windrunner , the Lord Godfrey and his men disappeared. I went to the silverpine forest to do the mission after finding his body in another area and clicked on her to talk to her and when I clicked close they disappeared and I tried everything that I could think of to get her show back up like run around and back and forth, flew to another area and came back and they still weren't there. If there is anyone that would know how to get her show back up please reply cause I can't really do anything else til I can complete this mission. Thanks!

Well, this quest is still bugged to hell.....

I sat there listening to Sylvanas twitter on and when she finished and Godfrey and his mates wondered off nothing happened. Sylvanas just sat on her horse and Godfrey and his mates just stood in front of the general goods tent.

I waited five mins before I took a flight to The Sepulcher and back but that was a bad thing to do because they're all missing now! Nipped back to the Sepulcher again but Sylvanas is no longer there. So I ran back into Gilneas (it's now phazed, look out for the elite lvl 14/15s) to look at my Quest Completist addon... and yep done all the quests.

I headed back to the beach and dropped the quest to pick up the 'The Great Escape' quest again but when I got to the beach weres nothing here! Went back to Emberstone Village, still nothing. Rutsak's Guard... nothing. Forsaken Forward Command... Nothing.

Oh hell, lol. I come back to the Forsaken Front and Sylvanas is sitting there with a ! over her head. Yep, it's the quest 'Rise, Godfrey'. Took the quest and sat right next to her. This time after her twitter she turned and is now standing on the gazebo thing with a ?

So if this quest messed up on you
Drop quest to see if she respawns, if not leave the zone (head in to Gilneas or Hillsbrad) and come back.

Ya this quest is really buggy, just abandon it next to her then pick it up again and she'll do the whole ceremony. weird tho
