To complete Amateur Protography you need to take pictures of different proto-dragons.
Use provided Wulferd's Award-Winning Camera to take photo. You just need a requested thing being on the screen.

Proto-Dragon Egg - there are a couple of them on the ground. Found one at 45.47 82.23, behind a proto-dragon.
Optimistic Whelp learning to fly - can be found near pillars, found some at 43.71 81.02. These guys are small, so look carefully.
Hungry Proto-Drake catching a fish - these can be found flying fast along the water. Their routes are circled, so they are easy to locate.

You can also use /tar Hungry Proto and /tar Optimistic Whelp to catch some.

To use the camera, stand where you want to take the photo, and hit the camera icon on the quest list. This will create a beam of light to show where you are aiming the camera. The beam will remain as long as you do not move, aside from rotating. Wait until your subject is in or near the beam and hit the camera button on the alternate interface (should be button 1). It took me a few minutes to figure out how this worked. Good luck.

I had a lot of trouble with the egg. I realized there is one egg that has the yellow "quest" outline, that's the one you have to take a picture of, all the other eggs won't work.

If you're looking for the egg, they're down below, the circle is misleading

The locations the quest tracks are where the objects to photograph are located, not where you're supposed to stand. Don't be like me and wait on the cliff above the egg location for ten minutes wondering why you can't point the camera downward.

Worked awesome today. One thing to note, wait until the object you are photographing has a ray of light, then hit 1. And for the Hungry proto-drake, wait at one spot. They fly around and it their path is about 1 minute round trip.

2. Amateur Protography - Use Wulferd's Award-Winning Camera to Make a Photo ( I You want to stop taking photo just move ) of:

/way 44.03 81.87 Whelp learning to fly
/way 43.77 78.46 Proto-Drake catching a fish
3a. Competitive Protography - Use Wulferd's Award-Winning Camera to make a photo of:
/way 38.28 80.87 Photograph an Infused Proto-Dragon Egg
/way 38.44 81.66 Infused Proto-Drake
3b. Preserving the Wilds - Free 5 Captured Proto-Whelps/Drakes. Just kill mobs holding them.
5. Professional Protography - First step on spring that will throw you up then coming closer annd closer do photo of "sleeping" Slumbering Proto-Dragon.
6. King Without a Crown - Press on 3 bones of Proto-Dragon: /way 38.85 83.53 /way 39.10 83.89 /way 39.39 84.01
7. A Thousand Words - Photograph Dervishian near the Proto-Dragon Skeleton /way 38.74 83.63
That will finish storyline.

Rogues can pull the camera out and take pictures while stealthed.
Possibly druids too, but I haven't tried that yet.

i have the target in the spotlight over and over but no credit. target is in spot marked on map.

If you're having a problem with 'Hungry Proto-Drake catching a fish' - Stand in the little circle on the minimap and wait for it to fly to you. Have the camera out and centered. Wait until it goes down to the water and snatches a fish, then take the picture. It took me an embarrassing amount of time to realize you can't just take a picture of it anywhere along its patrol. You have to take it when it catches the fish.

man, the optimistic prick, I tried over and over and over, could swear the thing is in the beam - no go. Thing is- on other alts earlier in the game did it, np. I cant believe that Blizzard doesn't undrstand that doing something over and over and over ad nauseum , does not make someone think, boy, that was fun! Can't wait to frustrate the F out of myself again - while paying for it.
