Soulsteel Anvil is used to convert Stygia Dust and Stygia Sliver into Stygia Bar.

Soulsteel Anvil in the area is interactable, and when opened, allows access to a special crafting menu, called Stygia Crafting. Within this Anvil, you can currently craft two items:

Stygia Bar: 10x Stygia Dust and 10x Stygia Sliver.
Armored Husk: 1x Soulforger's Tools and 20x Stygia Bar.

To craft Armored Husk you need a total of 200x Stygia Dust and 200x Stygia Sliver.
Soulforger's Tools drop from the rare Soulforger Rhovus in The Maw, after you fully translate the Intact Rune Codex.

Soulsteel Anvil is located on the highest platform, to reach this platform you can use Domination's Calling or Door of Shadows.
To use the Grappling you need Animated Levitating Chain.

I use my Door of Shadows from /way 22,2, 67,7 to /way 22,2, 67,8

Pre-requisites: Be Appreciated by Ve'nari, have 3,500 Stygia, have learned Animated Levitating Chain. Helpful: Words of Warding is active because of Assassin's Soulcloak

A quick note on farming. When Words of Warding is active, as long as you don't turn it in, you can cloak easily in Perdition Hold, which makes Perdition Hold ideal for farming Stygia Dust and Stygia Sliver. It also makes it easier to get Rune Codex Page: Souls as well as get to Go to Soulsteel Anvil.

Another thing I noticed is that when you collect resources from one stygia nexus, another one seems to spawn almost instantly. I think there are two active nexus in each particular sub-zone of the maw. This is why camping a spot doesn't seem to work as the nexus are random. HOWEVER, I think some more more common spawn locations than others. If you are having trouble finding one, I'd check the more rare spots, which for Perdition Hold is at the very very top of Dominion Keep as well as the very southern part where your Assassin's Soulcloak will fall off.

Discovered (new?) grapple points to get to this anvil (no need for Exos' item, or to be a Venthyr):
/way 23, 67 near Colossus
/way 22.16, 71.07 near the wall
/way 22.24, 70.79 above
/way 20, 68 once you got to the area the Rare Exos happens to spawn when using the portal item in the room below.

These 2 Videos from Sipder2 apply ONLY to Revendreth Covenant. Worthless otherwise for how to reach the anvil.

So its 4/22/2023, I tried all the Venthyr tricks or the Grapple points using Hunter's eagles eye to look for them, to no avail, spent an hour. The best way is just to use dominions calling the Exos summon item, then from there is a single grapple point easily accessible to reach the anvil. Just an FYI as i got my mount today.

Get exos summon item, which only needs yourself once its made, use it, grapple up and done
