Christ...No one else finds it disgusting that most people don't even consider donating money to charity, yet when a deal like this comes along, people jump all over it? When you donate to charity you don't expect something in return.Call me a purist. Props to Blizzard, however, for taking advantage of obsessive WoW players for a good cause, and shame on all of you who only donate $7000+ when you can get virtual pets in return.

I don't get the hate for people spending money on WoW. Ever met someone who sails? Flies a small plane? WoW's a cheap hobby.
Just putting this out there but as seebs said, wow is not an expensive hobby if you look at others such as planes or boats. Also another thing I would like to put out is that giving money to wow and in this case a charity is better then spending it on drugs.Sure they could instead donate it to some hospital if they want to and if you obviously feel the need to say that someone else should I think you should donate some of your money first before passing judgments onto other because they aren't
