if you going backstab i see noe reason to pick it, as it make you able to only use 45 ene instant! that mean 2 x backstab on full ene

This talent, along with Waylay, is an attempt to make Subtlety rogues burst damage again instead of pure CC/control. It's the reason for the Shadowstep increased damage and all the other +damage talents in the Subtlety tree. Shadow Dance is nice in that, after you Ambush and Backstab, you go right back into stealth to do it again.

They really could make this a 3 point talent, considering sub also has talent bloat at the bottom of the tree. Also, it should restore the lost 5% dmg on backstab from sinister calling that blizz nerfed in 2.4 because pve geared rogues are stupid amounts of damage.

I don't think blizzard intended Sub rogues to be hemo spam. It just came out to be the best dps with the 35 energy cost, the play style is more of what combat rogues do. I prefer daggers and spent 6 talents to be able to macro to dagger and have big crit chance with ambush/backstab against clothies. I just love my execute(vanish,SS,ambush) With the 20% more damage on targets below 35% is brutal.
This talent, along with shadow dance and waylay is blizzards way of making sub a dagger talent tree again. If you have to keep your easy-mode hemo spam than forget the new sub talents and get mace stun to go with your hemo. Although I don't think you will compare to rogues with any of the 51 point talents.

Oh, no no no no.... why blizzard buffed up this talent with energy descreasing to hemo? Is just what other classes get... more hemo spam, this is bull@#$% we now will see rogues spamming hemo even more and with the vigor in t3 in assassination which every sub rogue will take it and the +10 energy from the pvp sets, the total energy will be 120 meaning 4 hemo in a row without energy regen. I thought blizzard want to get rid of "Subtlety Rogue = hemo spam" but still they buff hemo up. SUBTLETY NEEDS TO BE DAGGER SPEC NOT ONLY TAKED CUZ OF HEMORRHAGE SPAM. At least they should increase the cost of hemo to 40 energy and with this talent to be 35 again, like they did with the CoS cooldown.
I know that this talent also descrease the cost of backstab and ambush but who in the world would use them when Dual Wield Specialization is now in t1 in combat spec, opportunity is only 2 points and the last, Mutilate doesn't require to be behind the target, which means mutilate will owns backstab even more. So, in conclussion the old pre-BC dagger rogue is still dead, and the lame rogue, the one with hemo spam is still buffed up... Thank You Blizzard

Ughh, I thought blizzard want to get back the old pre-bc dagger rogue back right? If so then why they buffed up this talent by also descreasing energy to hemorrhage?

Now lets be serious 30 energy ability? I can imagine how much hemo spam it will be in WoTLK. At least Blizzard should also deascrease the cost to Sinister Strike.

The Numbers as to why this is such an amazing talent to improve the burst of a sub dagger rogue:

Keep in mind that energy is regenerated at a rate of 10 per second, so each GCD adds 15 energy

Here's a look at the difference in number of abilities available before an energy bar is depleted.

While this isn't the rotation most rogues would use in most if any situations, the basic usefulness is visible in the fact that an additional 2 hemorrhages or 1 backstab is available before an energy bar is depleted, which results in more burst before the rogue has to significantly wait past GCD to continue causing that much-loved agony.

Hope this helps those who haven't yet decided whether or not to get this talent.
