All I can say is
ABOUT DAMN TIME!

the 3% alone makes it worth buffing the entire raid with it. The dodge/parry/block giving rage/runic power/ 2% of MAXIMUM mana makes this thing so incredible. It's like the apology for being so underpowered for so long.

I can now tank instances where I can mitigate (or avoid) damage and not have to worry about mana. I feel like I can bring a Disc priest into heroic SH and 2-man the place... with her doing DPS and PI/PS

Wow, I can't tell you how much this completely sucks.

... so we have a choice between buffing Kings on ourselves or Blessing of Sanctuary... Just great. Since our 10 man can't have more than 2 paladins, I'm not sure how this will work out.

To be fair a 10 man can have more then 2 paladins due to one can tank, dps, and heal. But again a 10 man could be stuck with just you as the only paladin. This improved version of Sanc is way better then kings and all tanks in a raid will want it, including you.

You always had to make the choice between Kings and Sanctuary. It's just that now Sanctuary's been buffed it's a different choice.

Although it's worth noting that now that Kings in down in the first tier it's will be picked up by even more non-prot paladins than before, so you'll often have both.

I would have to disagree. I would still rather have Kings or Wisdom as a Disc. healy priest. This is a reactive blessing and does me absolutely no good if I'm not geting hit. Even if I am, in a raid-type zone, the 3% is just not enough to help a priest survive.

1000 = 30
2000 = 60
4000 = 80
8000 = 160

How is something that is hitting for 1000+ really going to help a priest by saving 30, 60, 80, or 160 of that damage...It's not. If a priest is getting hit for that much and that often, there's something wrong.

Even so, we can't parry and block, so that leaves dodge...Even with 10% dodge, you figure by the time I get a proc of 2% mana from a dodge, I will prolly almost be dead anyway.

In a situation where a Disc. healy priest is NOT getting hit, Kings/Wisdom is much better IMO.

Now if we can just get Prot. Pallies to stop taking the +STR Tier 1 talent...

Not likely to happen. STR is now our primary threat stat, 1.15 times our strength (then with kings potentially thrown on top) is too good, and a genuine tank-build's talent points are still generally spread too thin to stick 5pts into kings anyway. Holy tend to have talent points free at 70 & retri apparently will at 80, so let them pick up the kings. But back to the topic...

I do miss kings. But not enough to give up the new BoSanctuary. The regen on Sanct is just too good to give up and, over the long run, 3% less damage significantly outweighs 10% extra stam... unless you're still at risk of being one or two shot by a bosses attacks (in which case you've got bigger worries than debating blessings).

im confused what does this thing do cause it states "Gives all members of the raid or group that share the same class with the target the Greater Blessing of Sanctuary" so how does this mean that it will help ofter classes like my main the hunter?

It's the nature of how Greater Blessings work.

PW: Fortitude, Divine Spirit, Arcane Intellect, Mark of the Wild, etc... never replace each other, so a Mage/Priest/Druid could just cast the spell on an entire group.

Since blessings replace each other, and different classes want different blessings, the group blessings are sorted by class. If I cast Greater Blessing of Sanctuary on a single Hunter in the raid, all Hunters receive the spell.

Basically, each paladin cast 1 Greater Blessing per class in the raid, and if needed casts regular blessings on individuals if needed. For example, if we place a Greater Blessing of Wisdom on the Restoration Shaman, the Enhancement Shaman receives that as well, so we have to manually give them a Blessing of Might.

Well, it beats having to bless 40 people with manual blessings every 5 minutes :)

I can confirm that there is not. Go into SM Cathedral, holy light yourself out of mana, and hit Mograine. Boom, instant full mana.

As of 3.2, this blessing will also increase stamina by 10%. This effect is not cumulative with Blessing of Kings

Basically what this means is that if your raid is low on pallies (lol?) or you are a lone pally tanking a 5 man, prot pallies will bring additional utility by not having to forego either BoK or BoSanc.

Once again it will be changed.

In PTR Patch 3.2.2 - Build 10357:
Blessing of Sanctuary now increases strength and stamina by 10% instead of just increasing stamina.

If they put a iCD on something liek this, they would do the same for Warrior rage regen when fighting many mobs. No reason to.

As of 3.2.2 the tooltip for Great Blessing of Sanctuary still says it only gives 10% Stamina.

Having tested it, the Greater Blessing does indeed give both Strength and Stamina despite the tooltip not being updated.

Was this talent changed to only restore mana? I remember tanking Naxx the rage gain was great on fights such as Noth, where you tended to take little damage with slow attacks, and "add fights" such as Gothik where rage accrual could be spiky due to low and sporadic incoming damage.

As a warrior, https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=12727 now performs this function since 3.2, however I never remember seeing these changes in the patch notes.

What I dont get is that the spell says that this is a rank 1 spell... As far as I know (and I'm pretty sure I'm right) there is no rank 2 spell for this greater blessing.

Is GBoSanctuary only castable on 60's? I had previously been told that the level requirement was that the target must be equal to or higher than the level at which you learned the spell. Can anyone confirm this?
