Loc 23, 54. Not that you really need it, you just follow the guy that gives it to you.
I was able to solo this quest with my level 18 shaman. It was not TOO difficult, but i wouldnt say easy either. Just stay behind the guy that gave you the quest and let him tank get all the aggro and tank everything.

Im with my 70 Human Mage and Can't get the quest.

Last night I did it with my Draenei Shaman though.

Also I finished the quest for the tabard BEFORE even starting the "Don't drink the Water" quest. So that quest is not the prerequisite afaik.

Just completed this quest as a level 21 shaman, Sironas is really easy, just let Demolitionist Legoso tank, give him Gift of the naaru, then dps Sironas. Maybe heal Demolitionist Legoso sometimes, but i only healed him a few times :).

Ok, after extensive travel and testing all sorts of quests to see what the prereq for this is i found it. What We Know https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=9753 starts it off, then after you turn in Vindicator's Rest you will gain access to Ending Their World.

He likes to run into groups of elites, so make sure you pull something away if there is a group along his path.

I was almost at Sironas and he ran right into a pack of 4 elites and got his ass smoked.

EDIT: Sigh... can't be soloed. Not on Dark Iron at least.

The AI on this quest is retarded. Every single time he simply walks up and attacks a group of 4 elites standing together. They always link... Every. Time.

Make sure to get the first hit on the mobs (before the NPC) to get exp and be able to loot them. You can also complete Clearing The Way (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=9761) easily by doing this.

you start the quest with the scout over bye he vecter coil. there are no chains to it. you just have to be level 18 to start.the vector coil is very easy for a level 20+ to finish alone. any lower and get aggro or somethin your dead and you failed quest.oh an on the of vector coil theres a rare spawn who is in stealth. but she drops good. the silvermoon tops witch sell 1g each

Well, you can solo this quest. I did with mage at lvl 19 after three attempts. Position yourself so you don't aggro mobs and let Demolitionist knock over the rest. Sheep and Gift of the Nauru both got brought out of the spell bag and worked fine. DPS the living heck out of Sironis and it's party time.

Solo'd at lvl 25 on my shaman and even then it was hard if I pulled some mobs and they wouldn't aggro back onto him. Just keep yourself healed - he's pretty good at healing himself if he doesn't have too many mobs on him.

I got up to the demolitionist setting the second set of explosives on my own as a level 18 hunter, and that wasn't difficult at all, the vindicator heals himself and your pet's another tank. but after he set the second set of explosives, he ran off and fought some more mobs, then dissapeared. i know he didn't die, i was watching, he just faded out. nothing happened and after a while the explosives dissapeared too, but it never told me i failed the quest. I guess it must have bugged.

I tried to solo this at level *23* shaman and I did eventually succeed. Success/failure is very much dependent upon how many he happens to aggro, and where and when the patrols happen to spawn.

On my fourth attempt, he did not pull any more than three at once at any given time. I still came quite close to dying at the three-pull, and had to use a healing pot. He has an obnoxious tendency to swap targets midfight, letting you pull aggro, slowing your heals, not to mention making downing the first enemy take much longer.

Sometimes he will give you enough time to mana up between fights, often not. Just start drinking right away after each fight and hope.

The large graphical effect at the top of the hill seems to slow the framerate for some people by a great deal. Once (at level 18) I brought someone to do it with me but they were unable to see what was going on for the hard part.

Solo is far from it he runs pass some which you can't he goes head long into a group of three and the minute you heal him your aggroed still better to either get a group or skip it and leave the island and start at darkshore

I was able to solo this as a 19 Ice Mage. I failed twice due to Demolitionist Legoso despawning on me for some odd reason. Though failing these two times cleared the path of elites till the first bomb planting.

Casters! Wanding solo Saboteur's saves mana. Demolitionist Legoso can tank these without taking much damage. I would also advise you to bring two stacks of water to Vector Coil. You will be burning your mana almost every 2-3 pull.

I soloed it as level 18 shaman.
It isn't hard, as long as you don't waste mana to anything else than keeping yourself/NPC up.

When he runs to 2-3 elites, you WILL catch aggro of them if you heal the NPC before he has damaged them.

NPC can heal himself aswell, so I didn't start healing before he was below 30%.

The last boss was pretty easy, give the NPC Gift of the Naaru and help him killing the "boss".

Soloing this quest as healer is all about saving mana. :)

Soloed this as a lv18 Frost Mage (Although spec really doesn't matter.)
It's quite simple and easy,really.
Let him solo everything,when he runs to packs with 2 or more blood elfs just sheep one and help him by wanding/arcane missiles (it's really usefull in low levels).
when you reach the boss just go all out,i use frost bolt + fire blast combo.
Frost bolt,fire blast,frost bolt,frost bolt,frost bolt,fire blast etc.
Mana pots can be usefull if you're having problems with the DPS,but overall very soloable and quite easily.

I did the quest, and after I chose the mace, and turned in the quest, I went outside and saw the crowd yada yada, but I went to complete 1 last quest, came back and whoever had the ! was no longer there. Who do I go to to find out what he had to say or what do I do? If I can't do anything can someone tell me what it is he was going to say....please. thanks.

Just tried to solo this myself as a hunter, nobody else was even in the zone to group with.

Doing fine, up to the second hill. Just finished off an Agent and then he just stood there and faded away. No death, just despawn. What gives?

It was last I checked...but a guildie was swearing up and down that he knows a gnome who managed to acquire a Signet Ring of the Hand. (He could be wrong—or just...less than honest—but it'd be good to know if that's been changed.)

I've done this with twice with my Hunter twinks, level 19 and 21.
Fairly easy quest if you ask me, just remember to use potions, bandages and Gift of the Naaru at the right moment.
I even managed to kill Fenissa the Assassin both times.

soloed as a 19 shadow specced priest, the demolitionist is a pretty tough guy and can heal himself, what you need to do is just heal him and let him do the fight, i only helped him with my SW:P and wand, and try not to get any aggro from patrols and etc...

An extremely annoying quest. Attempted to solo two or three times, usually got bored or distracted, so my own fault for failing those solo attempts. Then, I went to help a friend out and Legoso bugged out toward the end of the quest, after the final explosions were set. We fought a duo of blood elves and he disappeared. The quest didn't say 'failed' for either of us, and just left us stuck there with unexploded rounds. After a retreat, I dropped the quest and restarted it and we gave it our second attempt. The elites drop all sorts of greens, which as an enchanter was really nice =D. They're cake to take on with Legoso and a shaman, though sometimes I had to use power word: shield on the shaman and myself when Legoso was becoming overwhelmed. Several groups of Blood elves were bugged too, and shot at us but evaded our attacks, which was annoying. Luckily, as Shammy and Priest we could res each other. When we finally defeated Sironas I had completed the quest but the shammy had not. In the end, my shammy friend decided it wasn't worth it and left.

Not a hard quest, but it's very annoying with lots and lots of bugs.

ps. You CAN do clearing the way at the same time, with another player, but as a priest it was difficult to do enough damage soloing for the kills to be counted.

This quest was pretty easy. Just picture this: one 20 elite against a 18 elite and another player. If you're a tank, DONT tank. Set the NPC as your focus (right click portriat) so you can watch his health. Sit back, let the NPC tank and heal him. After he got aggro, DPS like crazy. She should go down no more than a couple of minuites. Buff the NPC if you can, and GoN him when he gets low. He heals himself too.

I like the quest, it's fairly unique.
You will be escorted by a 20 Elite Shaman. You may also pick up Clearing the Way, since soloing the elite mobs at 19-low 20's can be difficult. He deals lots of damage, put totems, and heal both you and himself(altough I wouldn't tank the mobs). He stops at (18,55) and (15,53) to set explosives, so don't do anything. If you are not doing Clearing the Way, you can prob let him kill them, he can handle 2-3 depeneding on his mana. Stay behind him and support him, and you'll do fine. The Elites are 17-19.
Make sure you do at least 50% of the dmg! Otherwise you will lose xp/quest objectives. Sironas is the last you will fight, a 20 elite demon. If you didn't finish Clearing the way, you could abandon ending their world and do it again :p
Once you're finished jump down the hill and you can finish the Sun Gate quest as well.

Non-Draenei can do all the chain quests leading up to this quest, but cannot do the last two, namely defeating the Blood Elf guy, and having the party thrown in their honour.

Immediately after the release of Burning Crusade, it was possible to do these quests as non-Draenei. I've seen a few humans running around with Tabards of the Hand. Unfortunately, Blizzard fixed that with a patch soon after. I'm not sure if people that earned the tabard prior to the patch were able to keep their tabards, or whether they were taken away.

Solo'd this as a 20 Hunter on my first try. Should be fairly easy for Hunters to solo this since you have two people taking hits for you; the Draenei and your pet. He runs up the path and you will usually be facing the Blood Elves two at a time, which is no problem.

Just be sure to keep your pet healed. He will heal himself from time to time so don't worry much about him. And be careful to follow him without setting off additional Blood Elves, you don't want to have to fight more than three at once or you could be in trouble.

The biggest trouble spot may be the very top, since there are a lot of Blood Elves grouped around the zone and around the boss. There are also a couple of them patrolling around, so be sure to take them out when it's clear so they don't end up joining in while you're busy fighting two. I'd suggest trying to pick patrolling elves off one at a time while he is fixing the last set of charges.

After you're done he just does a dissapearing act, so either hearth out or be ready to hike back down.

Solo'd with lvl 18 Prot Warrior. Don't let him get the first hit on all the elites, or else you'll have to come back and kill them for "Clearing the Way" without his help. Wasn't too much of an issue for my War, but clothies might have a tough time solo'ing.

For me, I have found that patrols are a rather annoying inconvenience during this quest chain, especially when the NPC is busy fighting other mobs and cannot help you. However I will offer the following advice. For those of you who die at the top of the mountain, near where Sironas is. DO NOT RELEASE!

I say this for one reason, as long as the NPC remains alive, he will detonate the charges, however he will not engage Sironas, and Sironas will remain where she is, granted larger and attackable, but she will not attack the NPC. At this point you may release and run back to your corpse without fear of failing the quest. I just did this on my hunter (I died to a patrol after my pet and the NPC were engaging a group of three). The NPC survived after killing the remaining mobs in that group, the patrol and a nearby stationary group by himself before blowing the pylon and waiting for Sironas to be engaged.

Don't care what anyone says, you can't solo this below lvl 22+. After dinging my shaman twink 20, who had 2200 hp, three heirlooms, and almost all blues enchanted, I still could not solo this quest. Managed to pick up another player to help, but the npc pulls too many too fast to be able to solo it. I tried many methods involving letting him tank everything and/or just straight up healing him. The hardest pull is right around when you first see Sironas doing some ritual stuff and the npc is very prone to pulling 4+ adds at a time.

Soloed with my lvl 20 shaman (though tbh I was wearing a handful of greens with Eagle enchant I found on the auction house).

Set the Demolitionist to focus to watch his health, and LET HIM TANK EVERYTHING. Let him run ahead, and wait for him to pick up aggro. Then, and only then, run up and drop Stoneskin+favorite Fire damage totems. Blast away or melee, whatever you're specced, keep water shield up, and throw him a heal when he hits 50%. He will also heal himself, but that takes time away from his attacks.

Bring food and water, and drink up whenever he stops to plant explosives. You can usually safely eat/drink while he's picking up aggro as well. As long as you stay well behind him, you shouldn't have aggro problems.

There are two named mobs that could cause you trouble:
Matis the Cruel, objective of another quest. He'll spawn at the top of the first plateau the Demolitionist rushes up. You can either wait for him to patrol away before starting the quest, or let Legoso tank him, or (easiest option) capture him for that quest using the provided flare gun.
Fenissa the Assassin, a rare spawn who stealths around the area and generally causes trouble. She drops nice low level armor, and she's easy enough to kill if you and Legoso run into her alone... but if she catches you while fighting Matis or a group of 2-3 other blood elves, things start to get unmanageable.

Don't let the comments about how hard it is turn you off of this quest, the ending is great and well worth it! It's one of the few quest chains in WoW that makes you smile and feel good about yourself, when you get to see everyone you helped come to cheer you on and celebrate your accomplishments.

Solo'd as a 19 retribution paladin on my second try, with two pieces of BoA gear. The rest was quest greens. The most important piece of advice I can give you, is let him tank. Don't pull off of him, as the mobs do hurt. He can heal both himself and you, so if either of you are almost topped off, don't try to heal, as the mana will be wasted. Also, if you're almost about to get out of combat, and the npc is low on hp or mana, don't try to heal him, as he gains full hp and mana s soon as he leaves combat.

You can prepare for this by buying a stack or two of food and water from the vendor back in town.

Accept the quest and keep behind the npc as much as possible. If the npc starts going near a mob/pack of mobs, he'll walk in and get aggro. The nice thing is he understands the basics of tanking, and will hit each one a couple of times before picking a target. I generally waiting 5-10 seconds and then hit the mob he chose with a Judgement of Light. At this point, I would look at his hp, and if it got into the 60-70% area I would throw him a holy light, and then auto attack the mob he was. His threat gen. wasn't very good, so I watched omen and if I got near the pull aggro, I would stop attacking and throw him another heal if needed.

Eventually on his course up the mountain, he stops to set a bomb at the base of a large crystal. He says to cover him, but no mobs actually spawn. I stood exactly on top of him while he did this to avoid unneeded aggro. After the bomb is set, he runs away, and well, you should too. On both try's he ran right into a pack of mobs after setting the bomb, so be ready. After you get out of combat, if you were, he does a countdown and then the crystal explodes. He continues up the mountain.

After a while of clearing, he eventually walks to the top of the mountain. At this point, you should be able to see Sironas. He does a few lines or dialogue and then begins to clear the area around the boss. After the area is somewhat cleared, he plants a bomb on the vector coil and counts down again. After this, the boss aggro's and the fight offically starts.

I didn't find the boss to be all that hard, despite having 2100 hit points. Just rememeber to keep Judgement of Light up on the boss, pop Gift of the Naaru on the npc, and watch his health. If it drops to around 50-60%, toss him a heal. Other then that, just auto attack the boss and you should be fine.

After Sironas is dead, he says he'll meet you back at Blood Watch, at which point I hearthed and handed in the quest, which is followed by a cool little event. At the end you are rewarded with a funky looking tabard and either a dps/tank ring or a caster type ring.

A few notes after having soloed this quest a few times:

First off, all Bloodmyst Isle group quests can and should be soloed. It is generally less time-consuming to try to do the quest a few times on your own, than to wait around for someone else to be around, in your level range, and with access to that quest.

For classes with healing capabilities (paladins, shaman, priests), it's advisable to have the priority of having Legoso alive (read: healing him), manage aggro so that Legoso is tanking, and doing damage, in that order. Threat can easily be managed by shaman by using Wind Shear on any mob that comes at you, priests can use Fade, and paladins higher than level 26 have access to Hand of Salvation, though at that point it shouldn't be too difficult to tank one or two elites for Legoso.

Legoso is a shaman. He's a level 20 Elite with 1,299 health and enough mana to make sure he never runs dry. As with all escort quests, he's restored to full health and mana after each and every combat, meaning if you can DPS all mobs down before he dies, you can save the mana you'd have spent on healing him. As a shaman, Legoso keeps Lightning Shield up, and occasionally tosses a SoE totem or a Searing totem. Note that while the SoE totem buffs Legoso, it will not buff you since you're not in a group or raid with Legoso. Likewise, if you're a shaman and toss a few totems of your own, Legoso will not be buffed by them. Sometimes Legoso will use Frost Shock to keep mobs on him, and use Healing Wave or Mini-Wave when he feels he needs it (which isn't nearly often enough to keep him soloing mobs).

Paladins can buff Legoso with Blessing of Might or Kings, for damage or survivability respectively, and priests can toss a PW: Fortitude on him for extra health. Since shaman can't buff him with totems, I recommend using the Stoneclaw totem or SoE totem, as well as putting a Water Shield on yourself to get some mana return while healing Legoso. Mages should make good use of the CC they have in Polymorph and Frost Nova, and while they can buff him with Arcane Intellect, it won't make any difference as he has pretty much unlimited mana in practice. Warriors should simply focus on killing the enemies as quickly as possible, and toss Gift of the Naaru on Legoso if he needs it, and likewise for hunters.

One to two mobs seems to be the "comfortable" zone for Legoso, who will periodically switch targets to keep all mobs on him. Three can get a bit hectic, and four can be a nightmare. Five is generally "we're gonna die". Even though Legoso is labeled Elite, he doesn't understand the functionality of concepts such as "don't attack the sheep" or "pull the mob off the healer" - in other words, he targets randomly, so don't be surprised if he's about half as intelligent as your worst random instance tank. He's also inherited the arrogance trait some tanks exhibit, occasionally following the principle of "you pull it, you tank it". Therefore, try not to pull mobs to Legoso, wait until he's actively engaged them on his own.

And one last note in this long (and hopefully helpful) rant, if you die at some point during your ascent, release and run back. It's about a 40-50 second run, but if you're lucky, Legoso might still be alive and, ehm, kicking. I managed to run back and toss in a heal as he came down to 5% health, effectively saving the quest from failing.

If you have threat-tracking addons, you will notice he periodically falls off the threat list of monsters, at which point he will not go back to them until everything else is dead and he gets reset. If this happens, you will have to lower your threat enough so that the monster will go back to him after he heals and puts himself back on the enemies threat list. I have no idea what causes his threat wipes, unfortunately.

I got all the way up to Sironas, and it told me I couldn't attack. I hopped on here and noticed that it's an escort quest. I never saw Legoso go anywhere. Now, I have no clue how to 'escort' him, as when I talk to him, he just says "The time has come to destroy the Vector Coil!". I'm at a loss- any ideas? Thanks!

So, not only r these draenei NPC racists and any other race cant get the good q rewards cuz they just ignore u, but the q rewards SUCK big time in comparisson with the Ghostlands q rewards. I guess these separatist draenei DONT rly want an alliance with the other races of the Alliance, damn racist bastards! :((
The bloodelves understood the need for allies and they gladly give the q rewards to anyone of the Horde, three cheers for the bloodelves.

I have done this quest twice, once at 19, once at 23!
Both times we get to the end, he blows the crstal up on top, then I get aggroed by three Sunhawk Agents (or saboteurs) and get wiped.
Is there a trick to standing somwhere so that he draws the aggro and then I can assist and heal? I suspect Im not standing close enough to him when everything goes to &*$#.

Solo as an 18 shammy. No credit for any kills, but just keep the demolitionist alive and you're fine. He can handle the pairs with a bit of healing, then just max damage the demon to clear her.

These quest rewards are okay, but the Blood Elf get really good quest rewards at lvl 18 or so - blue items. The dps on the bow the BE's get is 14 or 15 - this one is 10.something. The 2-hand sword, which BE's can opt for, is quite nice. This one's okay, but the BE one is better.

Did the BE's get something really good, and the Dranies didn't? Or am I missing something.

Started this quest and had no problems with it until I got within sight of Sironas. Just finished a fight and the Logoso says "What in the Nether is that! Be ready for anything" and then the moron despawned himself...cast a spell and poof. Anyone have this problem and know what's wrong? There was someone else who completed the dang thing about 15 min later so I know it isnt bugged. Wierd thing is that I still have the quest and its neither complete nor failed...no '?' above lego. Figure I am going to have to abandon it and try again but no idea what i did wrong

Soloed as 20 Shaman. Tossed demo a heal or two on the boss and a couple other parts, but for the most part he did all the work and I just did dps and tried not to take aggro. On a couple mobs I was able to tag them before he did, and got credit toward the Clearing the Way quest.

We need more escort quests like this where the guy doesn't walk super slow and isn't a complete wimp.

You can pick the quest up at 18. allakhazams "Level to attain" is only right about 50% of the time, its usually a lvl or two lower then whats listed.

I was able to solo this at 20 with a hunter. Basically you should try to avoid getting three+ mobs at once or more than one on you solo. I turned taunt off on the pet and just let him do additional DPS. The NPC is a shammy who will drop totems and do heals of himself (and you I believe). He can tank just great so let him pick the fights generally. You may want to pull the single patrols early to avoid having them add to a two-mob fight in progress.

Freezing traps can be tossed into the fray to take a mob out for a bit. Take lots of water and stop to drink at every opportunity.

It's a long escort, and he stops to blow something up halfway, then at the top he will blow something else up, then go around and kill 2-3 more pairs of mobs before pulling the boss who enlarges. The boss fight is really easy though, he can pretty much solo her. The only hazards at any time are getting 3 or more mobs on the way up.

If you fail, run back and abandon and start it right back up as the mobs take a while to respawn and it might be easier the second time.

There's another quest "Clearing the Way" or somesuch that has you kill 8 of each of two types of elite mobs which are the ones you're killing along the way. You seem to occasionally get credit for them (and loot) but much of the time you don't. Not sure if it has to do with how much damage you do in the fights or what.

This quest has perhaps the best ending of any quest in the game . You turn it in in town and when you come out of the building an honor guard has been assembled along with basically everyone you met in the starting zones. The captain and Cookie are there (with Chickens), The sick nelf princess you helped heal, the furblog leader, etc. Be sure to talk to each one that you can. And in their midst is Velan from the Exodar who will award you with a special tabard (of the hand) and a very nice ring. All together an awesome conclusion to the whole starting zones.

It does appear to be draenei only. I've finished every other quest in the zone I think (thats not listed class/race/whatever specific already) and he won't give me the quest.

Does appear to be race specific. There was a human Rogue (67) trying to get it and he wouldn't even talk to her.

pretty easy boxing with 18 priest 18 mage. Just used priest for heals/renew on Demo and used mage for nukes and sheep adds. nothing for mage (gnome)

This appears to be a quest for Dreanai only. You face pairs of level 17-19 elites, and in some cases two pairs at a time, so definantly want to have others with you for this one. Also can be taken at level 18, so the 19 needed is wrong.

I finished this quest as a level 18 Draeni Paladin. Let the Demolitionist tank and heal him throughout. I would pull singles to him to avoid him aggroing whole groups when possible. Easy solo if done carefully. It also helped to put blessing of wisdom on the shaman (Demolitionist).

I get this thing started, we run up and murder everything. But for some reason he only plants one set of explosives on the left side of the Coil. so i say screw it i'll follow hime. after he detonates it i run up with him to the mega chick and he just sits there. He wont move. I think he wants everything dead so i run in training stuff to him he kills. I clear that whole top area and still nothing. He tells me work is unfinished. I cant fight the mega chick, says invalid target. Do I need explosives or somthin? Is he just bein a lazy ass? WTH!

I finished this as an 18 hunter. Had no problems. The elites don't seem to be as tough as they are in other areas. I was able to do most of them by myself.

Does anyone know if this is a Dreanei only quest or what exactly the prereqs are? I've been questing here with my night elf rogue from level 5 through 20 and done every quest I have found but this one hasn't shown up for me.

Man ive been playing on horde for awhile and I wanted a shaman so I made it a draenei to make it different and hes level 17 now one more level and he can start this chain and some other quests.

Don't bother unless you're high lvl or got a good grp, he'll often pull multiple packs at once, even sometimes before he has regen'ed HP out of combat.

Demolitionist Legoso seemed to just run around killing blood elves, especially the ones at the hill to the north, without regenerating any hp or mana so I had to drink and heal him a lot. Also most of the kills won't count for Clearing the Way if he helps you kill them.
After killing off most of the north ramp he ran all the way back to the entrance and finally regenerated his hp and mana, then went to lay the bombs by the big red crystal. Which then led him to clearing the south ramp to the scripted path.
Legoso is pretty beefy so he can handle most of it but the chain pulls will kill him.
Sironas is pretty tough so you'll want to try to get Legoso to tank most of her damage if you can keep him from dying.
Managed to solo it as a 20 shaman, while getting 5/8 agents and 1/8 saboteurs on the way.

Dar'khan (Horde Blood Elf final Ghostlands boss) has much nicer BLUE rarity loot. Was expecting the Bloodmyst Isle ending rewards to be blue as well. Disappointing!
