classified as a "group" quest. All centaur on the way up the hill are normal, only the Khan is elite.

After you blow the horn, 2 khan guards run up the hill.

Then, 2 guards and an advisor

Finally, 2 guards, an advisor, and the Khan himself.

I had no trouble soloing up to the final battle as a combat-spec lvl 42 rogue. The 4-on-1 action killed me twice.

However when you die, the baddies don't disappear, they hang around waiting for you to claim your corpse, so if you're patient and don't mind dying, you can focus-fire, kill one, die, return, kill another, die, and then take out the last two, which is how I did it.

No major issues killing the Khan 1-on-1 thanks to disarm - he's a pushover without his axe.

I don't recommend trying to solo unless you are a few levels higher, and can do some decent crowd control. I may have been able to avoid death if I could thin the crowd more effectively.

attempted at lvl 39 hunter solo...failed miserably...does anyone know if i have to abandon this quest to get the mouthpiece again or if i abandon it will i have to do the whole chain again?

Soloed as a 42 hunter. If you plan on dying, do not kill the Khan first. His body will not be there when you get back.

Regarding the mouthpiece, you have to get a new one each time you need to summon the Khan.

Solo'd as a level 43 Enhancement Shaman. This is the strategy I used;

Blow the horn, the first two waves are easy and shouldn't be a problem for any class around level 40. When Khan Hratha starts coming, focus your first DPS on the Advisor who heals. Kill the advisor, get pounded by the others, and corpse run. Return, the mobs should still be available to kill. I used a frost shock kiting method on the Khan, and focused damage on the other two adds while kiting down the ramp. If you can use a slowing ability on the Khan to kite him, while dps'ing the adds you should be able to get both non-elites down. Hratha is a strait forward fight, maybe grab a healing pot if it gets close.

Just a quick comment, Khan does disappear after a period of time. Gotta be fairly quick if you die. I only died once soloing it as a 42 shaman but Khan vanished right before I attacked him after I killed all of the others.

Mouth piece will continue to drop while you have the quest, no need to abandon quest to get another mouth piece.

If you are a rogue solo'ing this you should have no problem. Sap the Khan and kill the squishy first. Then his 2 buddies. Evasion and maybe a blind/bandage should get you through all adds before you die. Res, come back, kill Khan.

Took it as a level 40 hunter, died once.

The first two waves are easy, but it would have gone a lot faster with some more thought. MAKE SURE YOUR PET ATTACKS BEFORE YOUR TRAPS GO OFF.

First Wave: Place a freezing trap and kill whichever doesn't get frozen. Fire a single shot at the second one, then allow your pet to kill it while you regain mana. sometime before it dies, throw down another trap and heal your pet.

Second Wave: After your first trap goes off, lay another one. Kill whichever centaur isn't frozen. If the advisor becomes unfrozen at any time, make sure to focus fire them. Just pick them off as best you can. Don't bother with the freezing trap while you kill the last one, as the third wave will stop at the bottom of the ramp to the horn and walk up slowly.

Third Wave: Place a trap when you see the third wave coming up. You should get the Khan. Attack the advisor first. Activate Rapid Fire and burn down your pets targets as fast as possible, and keep healing up on your pet throughout. If you can, attempt to move the fight towards the bottom of the ramp. If the Khan becomes free, freeze him again. If your pet dies at any time, feign death, rez your pet, and try again. Once all three escorts are dead, bring the Khan to the horn. Take your pet's growl off, and if your pet has hate, dps until he targets you. Now, lay a frost trap next to the horn. This is the fun part. Now you just continue kiting the Khan in circles around the horn until he's dead.

That's my guide for hunters, I'll try and update as I level my other characters.

solo'd as a lvl 42 combat rouge my strat is:

1st wave stealth sap 1 take out the other then finish the last.
2nd wave to me was same as the 1st no advisor showed up so repeat step1
3rd wave and khan pretty simple stealth sap khan kill the advisor then hit the 2nd if khan wakes up vanish sap him again and finish off the last guy

i only used 1 sup heal pot and died 1ce cuz i accidentely alt + tab

Just solo'd as a 41 enhance shammy. As of at least patch 2.4, quest is no longer group. Just put down a stoneskin totem, healing stream, and magma totem, while I was dual-wielding both with windfury.

At the base of the ramp up to the horn Khan, the 1 advisor, and 1 other guard start slowly walking up to the base of the horn itself. Plenty of time to eat and drink after last wave. Dropped a stoneskin and healing stream totem then pulled them to me with a chain lightning so I had aggro on all 3 of them. Put down magma totem as I started to melee the advisor to take out the healer first. Then took out the 1 other guard before moving on to the Khan himself. Had to pop 1 healing potion, but if you're a little higher than 41 or have more than just 4 pieces of mail on you may not need to. No reincarnate or deaths. Pretty simple tank and spank as long as you take out that advisor first. Good hunting.

I'd like to note that if you die on your first attempt, but made it to the 3rd wave, Khan will still be there if you run back to your corpse.

for the locks doing this quest, make sure to train Howl of Terror before attempting to solo this, because u wont live without it.

being that i did have that ability i soloed this @ 41 with no problem but the fights were lengthy due to Khans sizable amount of HP

and as jmeyer said long ago, khan disappears if not looted right away.. even from 2.1-2.4

I must admit as a level 33 sub rogue I did pretty good on this quest. I couldn't finish the Khan but other than that I did well.

I put the mouthpiece in and went stealth immedietly, the two mobs came up. No problem, sap one stun lock other till he's dead, other one popped up before the first was dead so just used ghostly strike and was pretty hard to hit, kill the second after first is dead.

Go stealth immedietly after last one dies, next two will run up wait a little bit so your health comes back, then use the same tactic as first.

Now the tricky part comes, this is where I got owned cus the mob was so much higher level than me, I sapped the Khan, attacked the other one and used evasion and ghostly strike, putting my dodge up to 90% or something, after Kan pops out of sap vanish and sap again ASAP or else the mobs will regain health, start attacking some more then pop preparation and keep attacking, Khan popped up as the last one was at 10% or so, pop evasion/ghostly strike again and finish the mob, attack Khan till evasion goes away then vanish and cheap shot ASAP so there is no healing involved, I tried stun locking but I died I couldn't finish the Khan at level 33.

Well this will probably work after I'm level 38 or so After I get blind it will also be tons easier.

As a lvl 43 protadin I found this Q really easy soloable. I had BoW, Seal of Light and Devotion Aura on. So I never went oom or low on hp. Never needed to heal or drink =D.

Easily soloed as a 38 hunter, I just put a a freezing trap on each wave, let my pet take the aggro, and drink before the Khan wave. Finding the actual mouthpiece to blow the horn was much harder than the battle with Khan, if I think of it :)

Solod as a 37 combat rogue.

The first two mobs are level 40 non-elite, stuffed up the sap (they saw through my lowbie stealth) so had to blow evasion+blade flurry on the first lot. Second lot was easier as the distract kept one of them near the bottom, which made the one up the top easier to sap without getting spotted. Didnt need anything on them.

Immediately eat+restealth. Next lot of 3 comes up (slooowwlly) and as Khan is 42 I couldnt get close enough to sap anyone, so used blind on Khan and wailed on the healer until dead. Quick health pot and finish off the melee. Khan came out of blind in the middle of this somewhere, so used vanish to go hide on the other side of the statue and eat.

Waited until cooldowns on evasion and blade flurry were up, then took out Khan with another health pot on the way.

Just wanted to say, that I completed this quest last night soloing it as a Lvl 36 Hunter, and it gave me 6000 exp instead of the listed 4300 experience. So they must have changed it recently so that both the magram and gelkis final quests now both give 6000 exp.

I solo'd this as a 37 ret pally.

First two waves were easy.

Third wave I blew Gift of the Naaru, Divine Shield (Two Flash heals + Bandage), Lay on Hands, and some health pot I got from one of the mobs.

This was a red quest to me, the chest piece as a reward is a really good twink 39 piece.
I have above average gear (no enchants yet) so maybe that's why I blew through this.

Mouthpiece dropped at the rise to the horn. One of the Stormers was carrying it. It really only took 4. I did this quest for the Gelkis Clan.

Just finished solo'ing this as a lvl 35 hunter. Had to do the whole thing over again cause i accidentally killed Khan instead the guard and advocate first. went back and his corpse was gone.

took a while, but this is doable. i gained almost a full XP bar doing this cause if you kill khan and not his henchman and die, then you have to get another mouthpiece. that took killing about 30-40 MORE centaurs after it took that many the first time.

as a hunter though ill say this is well worth the effort. this page helped a lot as well. thought i was doing something wrong but it takes FOREVER for the mouthpiece to drop.

Even if you are like me and enjoy soloing difficult quests when possible, get a group if you do not outlevel the quest due to three reasons:

The horrible drop rate for the mouthpiece.
The Khan Hratha fight. I soloed everything else in Desolace but found soloing this fight impossible as a 36 balance druid.
The fact that the mouthpiece goes away when used, whether you've killed Khan or not! Khan and his men stick around for a few attempts, but will eventually go away, which means grinding for another mouthpiece.

There's a time and place for pride and this isn't it. If at all in doubt, get a friend or two to help you.

quest is fun and is solo-able as a 36 rogue...just bring a pot or 2 and pray for lucky dodges and such...happy hunting and i think they upped the drop rate of the mouthpiece..only took me 7 kills to get mine but then again...perhaps rng favors me :D hf all

The horn itself is at 29:53. however, getting the mouthpiece is a right bastard. i've been grinding about an hour and a half now... killed about 50-60 maraudines of all classes... and not one drop of the mouthpiece needed as of yet.

its also single use, so bring some friends. when you activate the horn, 2 or 3 small waves of 3-4 mobs come up, the last group has the elite and is not possible to solo at lvl 42 anyway due to the adds.

i was hoping that after dispatching all the prelims he might show up for a one-on-one fight, but no such luck; ill have to go back and get the horn again now :(

As a 44 druid, I tried to solo it 4 times and failed. The last wave just hits too hard, never had the chance to even kill one.

41 priest friend came to help and we did it np.

Make sure to drink and/or eat between waves.

Did this with a lvl 41 priest (I am lvl 41 rogue) and we died several times before finally killing him.
Had to kill all the adds first, (die in the process) then race back from the graveyard before he disappeared.
Take plenty of food, potions etc, or a high level friend - theres never anyone around in Desolace to help on the spur of the moment!
3 waves of centaurs, with the boss in the last wave (4 of them in the last wave - a 39, 2 x 40 & the boss himself).

I tried this with a 42 Warlock, I am a 41 Warior. We got down to Khan Hratha himself but a Horde SOB killed me and then the Warlock. When we got back no one was around. We tried to re-blow the horn but after the second wave nothing happened. Khan Hratha never came up the hill. I tried to reset the quest and tried again, the same thing happened nothing. How do you get him to come up the hill so you can kill him? Please help, this quest is too long to give up on.

Having summoned the Khan and his guards and brutally dispatched the relativly easy first waves with a mixture of traps and conventional combat, I was stuck on the khan and his bodygaurd. My solution was run down the bridge till I was just within weapon range, feinting to escape the hoary half men. The Khan & co. only patrol around the horn, so once I was a distance away I could target just one of the bodygaurds loose my growling pet and focus all my DPS on that same centaur. My cat would certainly die but not before that one centaur fell. Then I would feign death to loose all agro and let the centaurs return up the slope to the horn. The centaurs would be one less than they were and I could rez my pet and repeat, untill I had the Khan on his own. Thus, for the cost of a little food, a 46 hunter could complete the quest with little fuss.

Obviously, using any kind of multiple target shot is an outrageously stupid thing to do.

As for the Mouthpiece, I'm pretty sure it only drops from Marauders. Plenty will appear if you do the quest to free the captured Goblin.

Soloed this thing as a level 44 restoration druid on my first try. Long fight, but I came out of it alive.

I used my solo gear, which is mostly agility and stamina boosts, was well-fed for +12 Stamina and Spirit, and had a Scroll of Protection III on me. Was in dire bear form for the first two waves, making sure to Enrage before the mobs got to me and Feral Regeneration a couple times. Popped off Rejuveation and Regrowth between fights so I could heal while building up rage for the next part.

When Hratha showed up, I pretty much ignored him until his cronies were dead, stunning him occasionally and just using the same strategy as in the first two waves, but with a little more healing. Once Hratha was alone, I switched to cat form until I realized that I wasn't doing enough damage to compensate for the loss of armor, so I switched back to dire bear until he was almost dead, then spammed Moonfire to take out his last few hundred HP.

Only had a few close calls, and ended up using one Superior Healing Potion and one Greater Mana Potion in the final wave (yes, the fight was long enough for the potion to cool down).

Lesson learned: Feral is not the only good build for a druid in solo. :)

I thught a Mauradine and a Maurader was the same thing, but it turned out that there's a Centauri Clan named Mauradine at Valley of Spears. Just go kill them to get the Mouth Pice.

Thanks to the quest being bugged had to repeat this quest twice. Both times got the mouth piece from the guy at 33,61 in a tent opposite the meeting stone next to the strung up leather thingy. Dont know whether its coincidence. Hope this helps!

Just for reference i killed my first 2 mobs and got the warhorn. Go to the cave just southewest of the Valley of Spears you'll see a hill with a hut at the top of it, kill the Maraudine Wranglers at the bottom of the hill and you will get the mouthpiece easy.

i killed a bunch of mobs without finding anyone who had the mouthpiece. annoyed (and bored), i blew the horn on the twisty hilltop at 29,53 anyway, killed the first two mobs that ran up to defend, and it was a drop off the first guard i killed. go figure.

If you're OK with dying twice to get this Q done solo, then do as follows:

1. Focus on killing his guards
2. die on the middle of the bridge, Khan and those not dead will go up to the horn after you died, then u can run back and res on bridge heal up and do another try. He didnt despawn for me and I ran back 2 times, i.e. 3 tries and Q done.

i got the mouthpice of a windchaser...on the 8th drop...went to the top hill...then blew it...killed hte first wave...(im a rogue) used blade flurry. the killed 2nd. 3rd then boss:D

but when the boss wave came i hade to vanish. then sap the boss...then kill the last guard. thn i used evasion. slice n dice. blade flurry adrenaline rush...and berserk(im troll)

i had to gouge him 3/4 of the way down. bandage myself wif a heavy runecloth. the he dead:D

So me (39 priest) and a friend of mine (40 warrior) try this quest. It takes about 30 minutes to get the horn piece, not too bad.

The wave with Khan in it is hard, even with two of us. We die, we try again. Surprisingly Khan is still wandering around. We get close, and die. 3rd time, they're gone.

And horn piece is gone.

Apparently you get *one* use. And it's not a group drop.

Irked that we failed, we set out to get another horn piece. we clear the entire area... Hour and a half to 2 hours. There is nothing left alive outside Mauradon, and no horn.

We abandon quest, try again, takes around 30 minutes to get the horn piece. we call another friend (40 Mage) to help.

with 3 no problem. we kill Khan. rejoice! BUT BEFORE THE FIGHT IS OVER the body dissapears! can't loot. quest ruined AND NO HORN!

SO... We are angry and determined, we get another horn. this takes us only 2 or 3 kills (thank god) We kill him again, combat loot we get the drop and we're done.

after all that, we hearth, and I look in my bag and I still have the freakin horn.

p.s. if you try to mind control a centaur and run him off the cliff (it should be funny) he just bugs out, floats down, and then reappears up top... bah!

I am a huge newb, been playing wow for about 2 months. I am 42 hunter, and easily cleared and completed quest with 42 druid.

1) mouthpiece may take a while to drop, but you gain decent grinding experience while trying. ( not great but ok)
2) horn cords are correct, 29,53. its on top of a huge plateau
(without cords, continue deep into the camps, and keep looking up you cant miss it.)(camps are south east desolace in valley of spears, hop skip and leep from kabodo graveyard)
3) No deaths necessary. Kill Khan then kill adds, or loot and run.

1. The centaurs are to the west of the map and half way down the map itself...in the middle of some mountain range.

2. To get the mouth piece kill all the centaurs you can...you'll get it fast if your lucky enough..otherwise just keep killing them.

3. the horn is at the top of a VERY tall pillar...its hard to miss so just look up theres a ramp that leads up to it...

4. when you blow the horn the centaurs come in waves of 2 or 3 centuars...they are only lvls 39-40 non elites... the guy ur supposed to kill is just a lvl 42 elite so dont freak...

Im a lvl 39 hunter and I easily Soloed it...its not as hard as people say it is so give it a try by urself if you 39 or higher...maybe 38 just give it a try...if u cant do it...then ask for a little help ^_^

Sap one of each wave, kill the others, then the sap, always killing healers first.
You have time to eat after each wave if you go behind the horn right near the border of the bluff.

When Khan comes, sap him, kill the others and vanish. Let your health come back while vanished he won't despawn.

Garrotte him, instantly put up Evasion, sinister strike x 4, Rupture. Of course use Riposte if you get the chance.
By now he should begin hurting you - as soon as Garrotte and Rupture are off, Gouge, Bandage, Healing potion. You should be able to finish off easily.

At least, that was my plan. As it comes, he never got lucky and I didn't need the bandage and potion :)

Here's the trick I found to killing him provided you have a pet with you or a tank.

First clear up the ramp to get to the horn.

Then go through the several waves of fighting (not that bad).

When he appears with his group, engage the group and kill off a guard, then proceed to run back down the ramp and get out combat.

Repeat this for every single guard til he is by himself! :)

lvl 45 warlock.. so far i only got info on the mouthpiece. the quest says "only the most trusted" will have the piece. should be a better drop rate off the highest lvl ones. my luck came after about two dozen kills. got it off the lvl 40 Marauder on top of a small foothill in the very back of the village just below the horn.

This is an extremely simple quest to solo as a rogue (at least).
Blow the horn and stealth. You can sap the other guard and take them out one by one. After you're done, stealth and repeat...
When Khan Hratha comes up the slope with his guards, just throw a distract so it hits *only* Hratha (he walks in first - at least for me he did). Sneak past the guards and sap him (AT THE SLOPE!). Wait for the guards to go all the way to the horn and you can take Hratha 1-on-1...

I did need to focus on guards and die/use a soulstone to recoup and then go after the others.

Kill the softer guards first (advisor first, since she heals).

The mob for this quest are no longer elite, Khan Hratha included.

For those that may think (because they have killed a bizillion of them with no quest item drop) that this change effected the drop, it does still drop post 2.3, but I did kill upwards of 90 of the mob before a drop (kills calculated from the 18k xp I gained).

As a rogue you can separate Khan from his guards with a sap lower on the ramp, leaving you one on one with him.

The higher lv you kill, the higher the drop rate. At lv 41, I was able to solo this quest without using any long cool down abilities. the patch nerfed it something fierce.

apparently, you can't sap khan and fight him alone anymore. I sapped him and his guards waited with him until the sap wore off.
I've tried it three times, the guards stop with him every time.
It does seem to be a better drop rate for the mouthpiece at higher levels. On my second try, I got the mouthpiece after six kills, the third try I got the mouthpiece off one of the mobs in the first wave of my second try!

This is probably the worst quest ever and im only on level 44 now but i actually believe it is!

To find the mouthpiece you just gotta have luck. It means you may loot it on your first kill or on your twentyfifth kill of those kentaurs.

This is irritating but what is truly absurd is the kentaur your supposed to kill. First there's two guys attacking you (coming from below, at the ridge) and then two more. After that the bosskentaur arrives with two companions. The ridiculous part is that the respawn is extremely fast so make sure you loot that son of a @#$%^ when you kill him. First I killed him without looting and instead took care of his two mates. By the time I had killed them the boss had respawn meaning his corpse was gone. Then I had to do it all over again INCLUDING finding the mouthpiece which took a hell of a long time this time I did it.

So extremely ridiculous and a typicall "get-addicted-to-wow"-quest. I sincierly hate it and wont ever do it again.. ever!

Something funny about how quests are rated. I am level 45 hunter, previous to this I did an orange quest at some other place, made it through the first time around. Here I go back to desolace to get rid of this green one before it gets to low. I died on the last wave because one of a guard regenerated, and I ended up with 4 to fight at once! Go figure lol

Did this as a 42 rogue without any trouble.. the waves are as described - plenty of time to eat/bandage and stealth after each.

For the final wave, sap the Khan and pull the rest back and open up on them (blade flurry works a treat here). The Khan should break sap some time when you're killin' the third mob.

Vanish as soon as all his guards are dead.. use the time to recoup, eat/bandage.. then attack him. You might need to use evasion / blind -> bandage, but he is quite easy.

After trying this again, I've developed a little strategy which I'd like to share... this is more specifically for rogues who want to solo this.

1.) You can use distract to pull one mob from the rest, as in for every round you can pull one mob and make it a LOT easier when you kill the rest. In the third round, it's best to go pull Khan ONLY when they're starting to run up to the top of the ramp.

2.) Sapping will obviously work when stunning one person for the rest of the time... otherwise, Blind will work.

3.) Riposte will REALLY favor you in this as Hratha will clobber you with his axe.

4.) Even after you pull Khan from the rest of his protectors (if you manage to), he will stand still for 10 seconds. The problem is him and his guards WALK to the freaking top, and that can be a little bit harder to pull him. What I did was I sapped him and I had the improved sap with me to stay in stealth. His guards walked away and I managed to off him separately.

To complete the quest you need the Maraudine Key Fragment and the War Horn Mouthpiece, but of this date, when I blow on the horn to summon Khan Hratha to obtain the Key Fragment, the War Horn disappears from my inventory, and I thus can't turn in the quest.

Is this a known bug?

There are 3 waves once you use the mouthpiece on the giant horn.

Keep in mind, all 3 waves will come from the direction you came from (down the ramp from the horn).

Each wave has 3 mobs:

Wave 1: 2 melee + 1 caster centuar, all 40 (non-Elite).
Wave 2: Same as Wave 1.
Wave 3: Same as Wave 1 PLUS a level 42 Elite Khan Hratha.

Was an interesting fight, 43 Shaman and 40 druid. We lost on wave 3, but was able to drop one of his friends.

Used Shaman-rez, rezzed the druid, and finished the fight.

4300 XP @ level 43.

Worst...string...of...quests.......EVER!

Took me 3 hours at level 40 to get as far as broken tears, in that about 200-250 centaur kills. All for a stupid stinking belt that's pretty decent, sigh...

Blizzard, in their infinite wisdom, removed the centaurs that have the highest chance of dropping that @#$%damn mouthpiece. So now instead of killing about 20 to get it, you need to kill about 70.

This was a cakewalk as a 42 warlock. Sick the pet on the waves as they, stand back and DoT then fire those wands people! By the end of the battle my voidwalker was at half health and I had full health and mana. The hardest part of this quest was finding that damn mouthpiece!

Did this quest solo as a 45 holy priest.

Make sure you have full health/mana when Hratha comes, then Mind Control him - MAKE SURE the Khan has all 3 guards attacking him, not you. Try to kill the healer with Hratha's Cleave. By the time mind control breaks, the Khan should be at ~50% health. Psychic Scream to fear them all, then nuke Khan Hratha as hard as you can.

Take my advice though... if you screw up, DON'T try to escape by using Levitate to float off the cliff! I tried this, and the healer frost shocked me, causing me to fall to my doom =(

First, for those still wondering where the horn is, read this post.

I actually got the mouthpiece slaughtering things in the middle of the Get Me Out of Here! quest.

I did this as a 49 warlock, barely. All I had on me was demon armor, soulstone and a greater healthstone. Luckily for me, affliction specced meant instant howl of terror. I tried this twice in one go, dying the first time, soulstoned, resummoned void, got demon armor and healthstone back up.

As said before, health and mana should be at full. First two waves are a piece of cake. Send the void in then dot. If you can, make sure to eat/drink between waves. lifesaver, for sure. Not so much for the Khan Hratha wave, though, they come up veeeeeeeeeery slowly, so you'll definitely have time to rest up before they get there. Even my void managed to get the Suffering cooldown finished and back up to full mana.

Khan Hratha was a pain, though. I hit Siphon Life, Curse of Agony, Corruption and even Immolate, then hit a Soul Fire, instant shadow bolt when Nightfall procced, then when he came at me, used death coil and then howl of terror. Shot a drain life at him, then hit Fear and another drain life. Sacced the void for loot, then waited for howl of terror to reset, used and jumped off the cliff (literally leaving me with 31 hp), healthstoned. Turned around to see them jumping off the cliff as well, and ran like hell. Wasn't too long, oddly, before they ran away.

Soling these group quests as a clothie certainly gets interesting.

the thing you guys don't account for is that once you have the friendly rep unless you are fighting to get the broken tears and get into the cave easly you can just start at the north on the road in line with bridge than kill to the valley and fall into it (take a little damage from falling)

Despawns after five minutes.
First I tried nuking the Khan. At 40% the healer lady healed him back full.
The Khan took out my succubus after three hits, when I wasn't focused on re-seducing him.
The two marauders killed me in several swipes each, and have a moderate amount of hp to take my curses.
Boo :(

I solo'd this as a lvl 44 warlock. First two waves are easy, kill the caster first. In the last wave I targetted the caster first, then I tried to for the Khan, but died. Used soulstone, but my voidwalker couldn't get the aggro of me, so I died. I went back as a ghost, and the Khan was still there. Ressed, then took out the two guards (DoT, then wait while funneling). Then took out the Khan. Used one potion in the final fight (was low on health to funnel).

Try next time to add some needed information instead the stupid crap of this is my build and OMG I survived it or I killed this and I killed that crap...give info that is needed not stupid crap. People wanna know where to go and what to expect not trivial sh*t like what your pet is or your Build is. Who gives a sh*t about that.

neither chain is worth doing, but i'd highly recomend doing the gelkis. magram wants target dummy, which is hard to get inless you are or know an engineer, then it wants you to fight all way through gelkis cave to get khan. magram khan is right there, fight only few mobs to find his spawn and he has only 1 guard, gelkis has entire camp. but either way the final quest is a waste. you will be in the 50s before you have a hope of soloing it, and don't expect to get a group for it. if they put blues on rewards instead of greens that you can buy in AH, it might be worth the trouble.

Maintain your Magram reputation, and bring the Maraudine Key Fragment to Warug in the Magram Village in Desolace.

Description

The Gelkis Khan is dead, and now the Maraudine will fall! Kill the Maraudine Khan, Hratha!

To face him, blow the horn on the high bluff in the Valley of Spears. But to blow the horn, you need a mouthpiece. To get a mouthpiece, kill Maraudine centaur. Keep killing until you find a mouthpiece. Then blow the horn.

Do this and Maraudine centaur will come to the tower. Kill them until Khan Hratha appears. Hratha holds the piece of a key. Give this piece to me...
