Part of the Horde questline for the Wrath Gate event. This quest line is very long and spans the entire length of Dragonblight. Quite honestly, I consider this one of the most important quest lines (thus far) in Wrath. A must-do for any hordeling. :)

In quite a few of these chains there are optional prequests. I will not list these, despite them being in the quest series list, because they are just that: Optional. I will list the LATEST quest available that will start the chain, or the one most likely to pick up while completing other parts of this chain.

Additionally, these quests are Horde Only. I, unfortunately, do not have an Alliance character on the Beta, so I do not have access to any alliance quests. Sorry!

Step names are purely flavor. They generalize what that part of the chain leads up to/is about.

I highly urge everyone to read the quest text. This quest line is quite possibly one of the most epic in Warcraft history and is highly worth the time. Lore lovers and haters alike should enjoy them.

Could anyone doing this quest please sign up the female taunka around the camp, rather than the male ones? Orgrimmar's become a bit of a sausage-fest recently, and we need to even out the numbers.

After playing since 1.08, this is honestly my favourite quest in the game so far - and by a wide margin. Cheesy the speech may be, but it has a certain something, and fits perfectly with the atmosphere of the game.

One of the more surprising and wonderful quests out here in Dragonsblight. As a player of the Horde since 1.6: this quest is all that is Horde. Swearing new blood into our ranks and feeling that warm, proud shiver down your spine as you read these words. All this quest is missing is just a sound file repeating these words. Just as Vorph said: it's a pity that Alliance will never be able to feel it.

Truly, truly an awesome quest.

there are no words that can do justice to this quest, and the rest of the chain.

all I can say for sure is thank you blizzard, thank you for writing such a nice, powerfull quest.

every player who is even a little bit proud to be horde MUST do this quest, and the ones after it.

heck I loved it so much I made a new toon to do them all again xD.

too bad that quests are 1 time only =/

this and the questline of nagrand "hero of the mag'har" are the reason I'll NEVER play alliance, EVER.

since I started playing, I was, am, and will be horde ^_^

This quest made me feel... interesting, completing it as a blood elf. It seems at first to be a quest most fitting for tauren, orcs, and trolls, but for a Forsaken, or even more, a blood elf of Quel'Thalas to do this quest... For the Horde?

I'm a little confused as to why you're referred to as "Commander." Can anyone shed some light on this? I know our player has done great things for the Horde, but really I don't ever remember there being a formal rank of "Commander" handed out. I read all the quest text too >.<

Another easy quest. Just talk to the 5 NPCs fishing in the camp and follow the prompts.

Blood Oath of the Horde

Speak to the taunka at Westwind Refugee Camp and make 5 of them pledge their allegiance to the Horde.

Return the Blood Oath of the Horde to Emissary Brighthoof once you have completed this task.

Description

They are ready, <name>. These taunka will all willingly join the Horde and give all that they have to see the Scourge driven from this world.

<Brighthoof hands you a scroll bearing the insignia of the Horde.>

Within this scroll you will find the blood oath of the Horde. Tradition dictates that our new taunka brothers and sisters utter the sacred words herein.

Take the scroll and swear the taunka into the Horde, commander. Return the scroll to me when you have completed your duty.
