If there are too many people on the middle ship, just swim over to one of the other 2 ship and walk up their side ramps to kill the Reservists. Then swim back to use the Dragonhawk to fly back. Like many other DQs in the area, this one should be quick.

Upon recovering the Sun's Reach Harbor (completion of phase 3), this quest is replaced by Keeping the Enemy at Bay, which has the same objective but is a permanent daily quest that can be completed for reputation and reward, and will always be available once it is unlocked.

Here's how to complete the quest:

-Go over to the Dragonhawk flight master (the same one you start the bombing run over The Dead Scar).

-Select the bombing run option.

-Make sure you have the bomb in your bag and ready to fire.

-You fly by each ship (as seen in the screenshot). Throw one bomb onto each ship. One bomb will give you credit for the ship.

-Once you land, start killing the Reservists on the ship. If one ship is entirely full, try one of the other two.

-Once done, go back to the original ship you landed on. There will be a Dragonhawk there. Talk to it, and select "Take me back".

-Turn it in and enjoy the rewards.

Take a dragonhawk from NPC Ayren Cloudbreaker at the dock. It will fly you over the 3 ships to bomb the sails, then it will land you on the middle ship. Then kill 6 Dawnblade Reservist's on any of the 3 ships. You can swim back, or go back to the middle ship where there is a Dragonhawk who will offer to fly you back to Sun's Reach Harbor's dock.

Feel free to group with anybody in your faction that you see doing the part where you kill guys on the boat. It will go faster.

Beware PVP-flagged players in the close-quarters fighting on the ships. One mistake in targeting and you can end up flagged, pounced, and dead.

Questgiver is at 51.39, run to 48.25 and hop on the flight. Easy quest, can be done in 3-5 minutes.

Intercept the Reinforcements

Vindicator Kaalan at the Sun's Reach Armory wants you to speak to Ayren Cloudbreaker and fly over the Dawnblade reinforcement fleet. Use the Flaming Oil to set the ship sails on fire as you fly and once you land, slay 6 Dawnblade Reservists.

Description

We're making a push to solidify our control of Sun's Reach by capturing the harbor next. Unfortunately a fleet of Dawnblade reservists is on its way to reinforce Kael's forces there.

Take this oil and secure a dragonhawk from Ayren Cloudbreaker. You should be able to fly within reach of the ships' sails; once you're close enough, set them on fire.

Land in one of the ships and attack the reservists. With their ship sails on fire they won't be able to mount much of a defense.
