You have to ride the Netherdrake he is standing next to and start spam clicking the bomb in your bag once you're close to Manaforge: Ultris.

Aye, you can't really see whats going on, just make sure you make the on a hot key, and keep spamming it, until it works. When it does work, still keep the spamming up and you will complete quest.

Also, if you lose the Phase Disruptor, talk to Professor Dabiri again to get another one. Once you have another one, then you can talk to the Protectorate Netherdrake beside him and then you will have a dialogue to ride him for the "bomb run".

I didn't even realize I could've used the drake - but I completed it anyways by using the Rocket Helmet I got in a previous quest to complete it. I launched up in the air and just bombed the Void Conduit as hard as I could, and mission success :)

IDK about you guys but you can't use your mount no matter how close you get to it, nor can you use the nether drake provided, cause it says " Can't do that right now" so IDK how you complete this quest when it won't even allow you to complete it.

Please note: if you are a druid, you cannot use the Phase Disruptor while in flight form. You get an error saying "Can't use items while shapeshifted." And there's no place to perch to lob the bombs that is close enough to the Void Conduit. Druids will have to use the drake or have their own separate flying mount.

With your own flying mount it's really a walk in the park. Just fly into the center of Manaforge Ultris and hover over the "well" in the middle. There should be something that looks like boulder, hit it a few times you don't have aim.

Note: the phase disruptor required to do this quest has a 1 hour duration.

I picked up the quest earlier today but came back to it later, and it was gone. It took me a while to realize I didn't have the required item. It wasn't until I went to try to ride the drake (thanks to the comments here) that I found out that I was missing the quest item.

You can get a new one from the quest giver.

Wow, what a no brainer. Just mount the netherdrake next to the questgiver, take the ride on auto pilot and click on the phse disruptor when you get close to the manaforge. You don't even have to aim.

If you do decide to use your own mount on this quest, don't accidentally dismount and then alt tab like I did.

The Phase Disruptor and the Protectorate Disruptor were both in my inventory when I was doing this quest. I flew around twice clicking the Protectorate Disruptor like an idiot getting the "You can't do that right now" message. Realized my mistake when I checked my inventory, flew around and downed it in one flight clicking the Phase Disruptor.

talk to the drake next to the quest giver, use the phase disruptor given to you but clicking on it as the drake flies around the tower, no skill required. Mine killed in 8 drops.

Definately bugged. I have the void conduit targeted, I'm clicking the bomb like mad and all I get is a message saying "You can't do that right now".

If you are having problems with this quest, getting error messages like " you cant do that mounted" you are probably using the "protectorate disruptor" which belongs to the quest "Nexus king shaladar" isntead of the "phase disruptor" which will work with your flying mount or with the nether drake mount of the protectorate. So, check your bags and you will have probably a "protectorate disruptor and a "phase disruptor".

Get on yr mount, fly to Manaforge Ultris, at the very top is a crystal. Use the charges on the crystal. No mobs, no combat, hell easy.

I can't drop the bombs at all. When I'm on my mount it tells me I can't do that while mounted.

I get on the drake, I target the crystals but it doesn't let me drop any of the bombs. I placed them on my bar and they never light up for me to use, when I try it just tells me I can't use them right now.

Bugged?

**EDIT - Nvm, I'm just retarded. I was clicking on the wrong device, not the bombs.......

To use the bomb, you must have the Void Conduit targeted. It is a "mob" per se. As the nether drake fly upward, try to click on the greenish crystal on top of the forge, that's the Void Conduit. You'll need 10 bombs to kill it. The bomb recycles fast, you once you have the Void Conduit on target, you should have enough time to click it 10 times.

Not bugged. After you get the quest talk to the dragon next to Professor Dabiri. He will fly you up around Manaforge Ultris. Use the charges as many times as it takes to destroy the conduit (think you enter combat when you can use them).

Yep, yep! Real easy quest. Just make sure you bring your phase disrupters and place them somewhere on your action bar(s). Mount up on the Nether Drake and bomb away once it allows you to. It allowed me once I was somewhat behind the building.

There's definitely something iffy about this quest - I tried destroying the Void Conduit via two means, several times... but could not hand the quest in.

I tried flying up in druid flight form and sitting on the edge of the surrounding structure and firing off the Phase Disruptor. After a few hits, the conduit was
destroyed but the quest-giver doesn't acknowledge this.

I also tried using the drake mount supplied by the quest-giver and successfully destroyed the conduit that way, too... but still, the quest doesn't want to complete. :-\

You do not have to use the nether drake unless you just want the challenge or you don't have your own flyer. If you have a mount, fly to crystal directly in the center above Ultris, target it and drop the charge. If you miss, just hover there until you get it. It shouldn't take more than one or two tries.

OK, from what I read you get the disruptor then mount up on the drake next to you. What I did was take my flying mount I have and flew up there. fly next to the green crystal on the roof (conduit) and activate the quest item. I completed the quest no problem.

Ok maybe I need to try with flight form... but when I ride the netherdrake... it says I can't use the thing to destroy the conduct.... says "can't use that right now" so... I dont know if this is another bug on this quest.

Very easy with flying mount just fly above and trow those quest item on it and compleet easy money 7g50s coords 63,41

As of 2021 in TBC Classic you can still use your own flying mount for this Quest. I just flew up, blasted 8 charges and the Quest was done

On Nethery Wings

Professor Dabiri at the Protectorate Watch Post in Netherstorm wants you to use your Phase Disruptor when you get in range of the Void Conduit that rests atop Ultris. Drop as many charges of the Phase Disruptor as you can to ensure total annihilation. The Phase Disruptor charges will automatically home in on the Void Conduit so long as you are close enough to use it.

Return to Professor Dabiri should you succeed!

Description

Here it is, <name>. Take this phase disruptor and mount up! The Protecotrate nether drake will fly you close enough to Ultris so that you can drop the disruptor on top of the void conduit.

Drop as many disruptor charges as possible to ensure complete annihilation!

When you are ready, speak with the nether drake and he'll take you up.

If you miss the mark you will have to get more bombs from me before you can go up again.
