You start this event by pulling the Crusher and his 2 adds. After killing this crusher, you will be faced with two more packs.

Hadronox will start gradually moving up her tunnel until she reaches where you are fighting, thankfully you have plenty of time to pull and kill those two groups and kill them.

After killing the two groups it's advised you move as far away from the mobs heading toward Hadronox as possible to get ready for the boss. When Hadronox gets to where you let make sure to let her kill all the extra adds before engaging or there is a very good chance you won't kill her. The reason being is that she puts a poison dot on them that drains 500hp per second and gains 10% life when they die from it.

Fighting the boss:

This boss has a low amount of HP but does some nasty poison damage. Everyone needs to spread out around the boss and move when she drops a poison cloud.
She will periodically pull everyone towards the her with webs then drop a cloud, make sure to move.
She will put a poison dot on everyone (even pets) which needs to cleansed immediately or she will be able to heal through your damage.

Hadronox is the child of the last boss of the spider wing of Naxxaramas.
Health: 102,820 HP

Abilities:

* Is surrounded by aggressive Nerubian mobs, who also attack the boss. After the encounter is over, these Mobs will turn on nearby players.
* Every time Hadronox kills a player or attacking Mob, he re-gains health.
* Occasionally casts spider silk tethers, drawing all players (and attacking Mobs) to itself.
* Will occasionally web a player, immobilizing them.
* Does an AOE poison, causing Nature damage.

Its possible to kill Hadronox while the Nerubians are alive, and in fact makes it incredibly fast (blew through her entire healthbar in about 9 seconds.) Unfortunately doing so will probably wipe you, as every single add will turn on you and tear you to shreds. (Shieldwall+AoE Taunt and I died about 1 second before the taunt ended with 17k hp and 16k armor)

The fight is a gauntlet with a twist.

The Long Story:

When your group enters the main room (the one after the bridge), you will notice a group of 3 Nerubians. When you engage them, 2 more groups like this one spawn behind the first one - it is important to pull the first group back, so you don't aggro all 3. Hadronox will be under you, fighting Nerubians.

This is the timed gauntlet - waves of non-elite spiders will spawn from the 3 doors located a little above the main room, and will then head down to fight Hadronox. After clearing the main room, it is recommended to just stay in it, kill the occasional non-elites that will attack you instead of the boss, and wait for Hadronox to make his way to you.

When Hadronox enters the main room, she will web the doors, and no more non-elites will spawn. Wait for him to finish whatever mobs are left, and engage him. He will throw Acid Clouds and cast Leech Poison, which both should be dispelled, best with a Poison Cleansing Totem. If one is not available, make sure nobody from the group stays in the clouds. Web Grab and Pierce Armor aren't really a problem. Other than the poisons, he is just tank and spank.

The Short Story:
Clear the 3 groups in the room after the bridge quickly, and wait for Hadronox to come to you.
Engage him after he's done killing the non-elites, and make sure nobody stays in the poison clouds.

Hadronox will start at the bottom of the room and slowly work her way up the tunnel. Once you get to the bottom of the ramp, there will be a set of three mobs in front of you. It is very important not to run too close to the two staircases in this room as mobs will constantly be flowing down them towards Hadronox. Once you pull the first group of mobs, a short gauntlet will trigger.

After the mobs die, two more groups will come down the stairs and sit at the bottom of them. Keep your party at the ramp with the healer and any casters standing away as the adds will silence from time to time. Kill the two groups of mobs and make sure to pick up any of the extra non-elite adds that will come down the stairs towards your party. Make sure to stay back against the wall once Hadronox comes into the room. Do not attempt to engage her before she has killed all the other mobs as she heals for 10% everytime she kills something and yes, that includes a party member. Once all the adds have died, Hadronox will come at your party. It is crucial that you have someone in the group that can cure poisons.
She casts Leech Poison which drains health and returns it to her and if that person dies with the poison on, she will heal for 10% of her life. She also casts Acid Clouds on the ground that deal quite a bit of damage and do not despawn for around two minutes. Make sure to not stand in them as they are easily avoidable. She also casts Web Grab which pulls everyone in the party to her. When this happens, have the ranged and healers spread back out.

Just an FYI . . we took a bit too long on the event, not sure what was going to happen and Hadronox was actually killed by the mobs and we never got to do the boss. So yeah, I wouldn't take your time on this one or you'll miss out on loots.

On our run she came very, very, very slow. Thinking something was wrong we decided to pull her early to try and "help her along" what we failed to realize is that the doors where the waves of bugs come need to be webbed shut by her....so don't make our mistake.

After several runs our group noticed that if you chain pull the 2 groups sitting at the bottom of the stairs, that spawn after you kill the first group, Hadronox often glitches out and will not come to the top of the stairs. Also, the doors that the spiders stream out of will not close and spiders will stream infinitely.

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but I've attempted to fight Hadronox 5 separate times and it's never webbed the doors closed. We attempted to engage twice while mobs were still pouring in, and we were soundly thumped... multiple wipes per encounter. And after a while, the Nerubians respawned, Hadronox retreated to the bottom, and same story again. We've also tried waiting for nearly 20 minutes while she fights the adds, and then eventually Nerubians respawn, back to square one. Any ideas anyone?

Update: I got a good group and ran this dungeon twice last night, no problems. Other group members had experienced the same issue prior to Tuesday's maint, but nobody had had any problems since then.

On Heroic mode, the last two trash packs with the Crushers seem to be on a rather short timer since Hadronox moves up the tunnel faster. Once Hadronax crosses a point in the tunnel the remaining mobs will attack you. Most likely you won't get a mana break if this happens since the boss will aggro you.

Still broken, even after maintenance. She will not web the doors shut... effectively stopping you from continuing in the dungeon on heroic mode. Blizz, fix it already! We tried soft reseting the instance multiple times to no avail.

Don't go chainpull the non-elite mobs after you've cleared the 3 elites. Hadronox will slowly move back down because the constant stream of non-elite mobs halts, and it's quite frankly just a plain waste of time.

Took us quite a while to figure out she wasn't coming up any faster.

Read me - GLITCH. There's a known glitch with Hadronox. Her's how this fight is supposed to go. You should kill the first trio of spiders to start the event, and then fairly quickly kill the other 2 trios that spawn behind him. The adds that keep coming are non-elite and not too much trouble, but don't let them bog you down as you want to kill the other two groups of three quickly.

Now, what should happen is right after you kill the two groups of elites, you back up to the wall (next to the circular dias - a good place for healers and ranged to hang out) and just wait while killing the occasional non-elite. Then after a bit Hadronox will fight her way up the ramp, web the doors shut and all other adds will stop. Believe me, after 4 wipes in a row, it's just about impossible for your average group to kill Hadronox before he webs the walls in. Once you're solo with him the fight is no big deal - just stay out of the poison.

If however, you kill the 3 trios and are waiting . . . and waitng . . and waiting, then you're up a creek. At that point, you might as well bail and reset the instance. I know, that sucks, but you'll be there forever and he'll never web them in (we waited 10 min one time). We went back out, reset, spanked down first boss a second time (actually getting a good item ^_^) and then the Hadranox battle worked as designed -- no problem. Fast instance as long as isn't glitched.

Oh, and after Hadronox, go downhill to the right all the way to the big ball of webs - there's a hole there that drops you down that's hard to see. Good luck!

On one attempt with Hadronox, we were having the problem many seem to - after dealing with the three elite groups, Haddy just didn't seem to be having any luck making her way up to web the stairways shut.

This being one of our early attempts, and not knowing about the whole glitch idea, we decided to make our way up the left staircase. The reasoning was that if she was having trouble fighting her way up with two streams of mobs, that we could halve her troubles and get her up faster.

Maybe she wasn't really glitched in our situation and just taking a long time, can't say for sure, but as we fought our way to the top of the staircase suddenly Haddy showed up at the bottom, most grateful for our help. We managed to take her down and all was well.

Can't say if this was the same sort of situation as others have, but it may be worth trying.

Question, what level of poison is Acid Cloud and Leech Poison? I am wondering if any of the First Aid powerful anti-venom will work against it? This fight really sucks for healers without a poison cleansing totem. Bleh!

I see people constantly saying that Hadro will not web the doors shut, and that this makes the encounter impossible.

I feel the need to point out that there's a Heroic achievement for killing Hadronox before she webs the doors shut to stop the adds from spawning. Just an FYI.

Ok so I just attempted this about 4 times on heroic and for some god awful reason we cannot down her. We did it a few different ways. The first try as soon as she popped up I ran in and started tanking her. Our healer had no mana and we died.

Second try I ran in as soon as she popped up, got her to 40%ish and then she two shot me and went up to full.

Third and Fourth tries we waited for her to web the walls. We did even get her past 80% those tries for some reason. Can someone give me a heroic specific strat? It'd be much appreciated.

This guy bugged out on my group and would not close the doors/come to the main room. We attempted killing him but we could not. We decided to skip him and went to the last boss. After we did the last boss we went out of the instance, then we went to the stone, everyone dropped group, we remade the group and waited 5 minutes before going back in. So we went back in and retried and low and behold, he didn't bug out on us. I don't know if this always works but it worked for us, might as well try if you're having the same problem. It's worth a shot, especially if you're after that stamina trinket

If you're going for the achievement I found an easy way to do so if you have a rogue in your group. Right after you kill the first boss and head down the bridge to start the event for the second boss, have your rogue sprint/evasion and aggro the first group of 3 and have him run around and aggro the other 2 groups of 3 when they spawn. When the rogue does this, have everyone run to the right side and stay by the wall and basically run down as if you were going to skip the boss. When your group has passed by the 3 groups and is on it's way down the path, your rogue has to vanish and run down to where your group is. Before you get to the hole where you jump down and kill the 100 spiders (not the hole where you jump down to get to the last boss), veer off to the left (it's sort of like a corner), this is where you will be fighting the spider boss. It's pretty much a dps race from here on. You may get a few adds but don't worry, there won't be dozens of them. Good luck getting this achievement,

Today it was the heroic daily...when we were ready to fight the boss after killing the big 3 beatle thingies, the tiny spider adds had finshed her! Dead. No loot. Moved on to the next boss.

I'm not happy b/c I wanted one of its drops. Outside this being a daily, it's hard to find a good group for this instance.

You don't have to move any mobs around. Agro the ones present after Gathewatcher (1st boss..), vanish and have your group ready to move down the lair, simple - Will give you the achievement until it's been ''patch fixed''.

I just ran hadronox and on our first attempt she did the "wow im slower than a snail on morphine crawling through molasses" thing and never webbed the doors. We came back after we wiped and she worked fine, walked right up after the 3rd crusher was dead and webbed the doors.

Dont know why shes bugs sometimes but I just wanted to confirm that it is still happening post patch.

I would seriously suggest setting Hadronox as your focus target when you enter her room. Otherwise if your group is too fast, she gets too many adds on her and can't kill them all and will die, giving you no loot.

However, there is a way you can profit from that. Today she was about to die from adds (she was at 10%) and I threw an exorcism at her. The adds killed her, they despawned, but it counted as our group's kill. We were able to loot her and move on without exerting any effort in killing her.

Moral of the story: If you see Hadronox at low health about to die from adds, tag her with a quick spell for free loots.

Recently I have encountered numerous bugs with this instance on heroic. The first being multiple groups from the first event would be sent at once.

Second being that no matter what you did, Hadronox would not web the doors. We tried it 3 times, one time rushing him to try and burn down but he would constantly heal up to full making it impossible.

Experienced the weirdest glitch ever with Hadronox on heroic the other day.

At first, we were confused, because she stayed in the passageway for ever, until the tank ran there and gave her a cheerful whack, after which she immediately rushed to the centre of the room where you're SUPPOSED to fight her, pulled everyone in (along with a ton of smaller bugs) and constantly healing herself to full she effectively wiped us.

Our mild dismay aside, we ran back only to see that the guardians hadn't respawned and that she was back in that passageway.

This is where it got absolutely ridiculous. It appeared that she was not healing herself as normal and the small bugs that she normally wipes out KILLED HER.

We just stood there, chainrofling in /p. Her corpse and all the smaller bugs vanished, so we didn't get any loot, and the rest of the instance worked fine.
I will never forget that...Oh lol.

We had a very very strange experience in this fight just now...

Somehow our group managed to get pulled into the mass brawl around Hadronox. Imagine 15-20-25 spiders all beating up on this one big spider, which is busy smacking me (the tank) because I got the aggro.

Well, because Hadronox was so busy trying to kill me, all the small spiders killed it in about 20 seconds or so, and then our tree healer had to work miracles to keep me alive when all the adds turned on me.

But er, yeah. We got the achievement =)

Last week, I had the "killed by adds in the tunnel before we could reach him" bug, and today, I have a new one to report :

The infamous "I decided to despawn in thin air right after I shot webs at the doors, while still having adds engaged in combat with me, and the group had not interacted and was at the top of the room, and decided not to respawn" bug .... -_-'

Sad thing is : it always happens when I'm with my tank (who needs the trinket) and never with other chars (who disenchant the trinket)

Not sure if this was a glitch or not, but tonight I ran this with a group on heroic. We accidentally pulled the boss while she was fighting the wave. We had a nice 4 minute fight with her and her adds all the while gaining rep (this was Heroic). I'm going to try this again to see if it's a nice rep grind....

Anyone had this kind of luck?

You don't need a rogue to skip this boss. I have in fact done it with my mage. What you need to do is right after first boss use slow fall to jump down and aggro first set of elites. Then while falling stilling and mobs are aggroed pop invisibility. It will reset the entire fight and you can just run by mobs. You may have to fight Hadronax for a couple of seconds but just jump down the hole and you will leave combat. I have done this and this indeed works.

If you wish to just make this whole fight easier on yourself, use a Crashin' Thrashin' Racer Controller to pull the first set of mobs in the gauntlet.

This will cause them to despawn and allow you run straight through. After 45 seconds or so, Hadronox spawns in his web, and by killing him fast enough, you will even get Hadronox Denied.

This makes an already short instance even shorter.

Crashin' Thrashin' Racer Controller didn't seem to work today. I have used this trick MANY times prior to patch 3.3.2, but I think they fixed it.

Poor thing. It fights back the scourge invading its home and then a group of so called heroes comes and slaughters it in the name of some nerubians that survived the invasion... Now...that can't be right.

A word of caution if you choose to farm this guy for the trinket or another drop. The encounter it seems is quite bug riddled, if when you kill the 3 groups of adds you manage to get the big guy out and engaged without issue, you're lucky. My most recent encounter today, he waltzed out and died, right there in the middle of the floor, meaning no chnance at a trinket for me.

Although Hadronox is untamable, there is another spider with the same model that became tamable in Cataclysm. In the Northwestern corner of Silverpine Forest, go to the end of The Skittering Dark cave and you'll find a tamable level 13 Skitterweb Matriarch.
