Val'anyr, the ultimate weapon for spellhance shamans and protection paladins.
jeez ulduar 25 man hard mode ilvl equivalent to normal icc 10 man raid ilvl
With ToC on an entirely separate Phase theres no point to these buffs. There no "oh why run Uld when ToC is much better ilvl" kind of competition to be had.So what now we have to buff ToC and then ICC gear so that they feel like actual upgrades? All that would accomplish is breaking the iLvl curves more than they already will be. Then you need to mega buff ToC and ICC to compensate.Like why?
They said in the video call Val’anyr will have it’s melee damage significantly reduced with the intent to keep it away from spellhance thankfully. To keep it purely as a healer only weapon.
My question is what about the achievement such as HERALD OF THE TITANS on ALGALON 10 man with the require certan item levels? is the achievement criteria of item level will be also increase then to compensate it? and going forward the same drill with the ARGENT DEFENDER achievement in Trial of the Grand Crusader also on 10 man HC version of the raid?
Ulduar 25 normal weapons are 232 ilvl by default and they should be increased to 238 ilvl. Blizzard cmon...
I also saw them preview buffed arena s6 weapons. So will badge gear also receive this item level upgrade or will it be completely irrelevant and remove any reason for buying anything but runed orbs? For that matter will the dropped boe pattern items be upgraded as well or will runed orbs be worthless as well? This entire thing seems halfway thought out.
This is going to be such a %^&* show. Everyone has HM items in every slot (except the 4 set items) as BiS. There will be 1-2 HM items dropping from 1/2 of the bosses, the other half dropping none at all. The salt will be real and in the same breath they destroy what they say they want to avoid, that raid loot is feeling bad. Toc normal 10/25 and 10 hc loot will be pretty useless for most (in terms of itemlevel). 1 of 4 modes is useful in p3, gj blizzard genius move.
