Just like most outland fishing monsterbelly and moonglow both share spawn locations. if you see one or the other fish it and you have a chance of the other spawning there. These fish spawn off the coast of Borean Tundra, South East of Unu'pe in the Frozen Sea. To find them head towards the grouping of floating icebergs / islands

Here's fishing map, of the area south of the Borean Tundra, where there are spawn points of Deep Sea Monsterbelly, and Moonglow Cuttlefish.

Water walking and levitation are helpful, but optional. There are small groups of broken ice sheets. You can also hop from the water, onto the 45-degree edges of the large icebergs. Some can be a bit deceptive. Watch for places where the slope touches the water, without a ridge.

Of course, flying negates most of these obstructions.

There is a massive amount of spawnpoints for Moonglow Cuttlefish and Deepsea Monsterbelly at the Icebergs south of Unu'pe in Borean Tundra. The icebergs Im talking about isn't shown on the map, they are just between the 2 shown at the map, straight south from Unu'pe. like 6-7 spawnpoints with less than 15 minutes spawntimer. INSANE!

For anyone who is still confused where to find Deep Sea Monsterbelly and Moonglow Cuttlefish schools, they spawn all around the icebergs in the FROZEN SEA of Northred zone which is just SE of Borean Tundra, but not actually in Borean Tundra.

The schools are all around around 30,67 in the Frozen Sea... and to use those coords properly you need to open you map and veiw the entire continent of Northren, not a specific zone inside it.

Here is a Map showing the area of these pools, notice the map is of Northrend and not Borean Tundra, this is what it will look like when you are actually there.

If you still cant figure out how to get there for some odd reason... go to the Borean Tundra head towards the coords 81,58. It will trun into the Frozen Sea as you get close

30,67 Northrend = 81,58 Borean Tundra

You will need a minimum of 480 fishing to cast here and about 550 to not lose very many.

Note: Also, you may want to bring at least 10 Critter Bites and do using the Tundra Penguin's that are clustered all over the Icebergs in this area.

When looking for schools in the frozen sea south of borean tundra the schools often seem to be ALL moonglow cuttlefish OR deep sea monsterbelly. Is there a time thing on this or are just people fishing all the cuttlefish ones leaving the monsterbelly ones?

Moonglow Cuttlefish Schools can also be found in the Howling Fjord - look for schools spawning far out in the sea west of Westguard Keep. You can also find schools Deepsea Monsterbelly out there.

Hey i've seen a lot of them south east of Kaskala in Borean taundra. They serround the glaciers in the middle of the see, and i meen a lot of em.

I've dived with cuddlefish IRL, and I must say they are incredibly cute, and very intelligent!

Cuttlefish are sometimes referred to as the chameleon of the sea because of their remarkable ability to rapidly alter their skin color at will. Their skin flashes a fast-changing pattern as communication to other cuttlefish and to camouflage them from predators. This color-changing function is produced by groups of red, yellow, brown, and black pigments, with up to 200 of these specialized pigment cells per square millimeter!

Your server mileage may vary, but since this is only used for one cooking thing, and a pretty meh one at that (oh boy, spirit!) these fish are comparatively cheap, on my server maybe 2g a stack. So, if you have a character who just needs to push from 400 to 450 cooking so they can make fish feast, and you don't really care about cooking for yourself along the way, about 60 of these should do the trick, and cheaply.

There is a iceburg flow just south of Unu'pe. (80,57)
Make sure you have a way to get your skill up to 480.
