It appears that with the 3.1 patch, Soothing Spices, Hot Spices and Mild Spices will no longer be required for the vast majority -- if not all -- of the recipes they were originally required to be part of. Whether or not they will continue to have any sort of functionality in the game remains to be seen, let alone if they will continue to be available on vendors.

Dont go all the way to DustWallow Marsh for the spices, Pick them up at the cook supplier in UC, he has it.

If you're doing the quest "Soothing Turtle Biscue" just buy the Soothing Spices from the man you get the quest from.. Cristoph Jeffcoat.

These spices can also be found at the general goods trader Viviana in feathermoon stronghold

Also Sold by Eral in Shattrah City (61,70) Or about 5:00 on the outside wall in lower city.

NOT sold by Mishta(CC rep nelf) in Cenarion Hold as of Classic phase 4. Maybe this will change with the Phase 5(AQ & Silithus content).
