Went to go buy the recipe and noticed that it was not on the vendor, so remembering the trick used to get the 'Enchant Shield - Greater Stamina' I bought out both the Felcloth Pants pattern and Arcanite rod recipe. The recipe did not show up immediately...so after seeing that Moonglade was empty I just ran around for a bit...came back around 10 minutes later and this recipe was in the very last page sitting after the Felcloth pants pattern (which respawned) but the arcanite rod recipe was no where to be found.

Seems to have a pretty long respawn... the rod and pants recipes respawn much quicker than this one.

I do not know if this confirms it, but I showed up at this vendor and purchased the Arcanite Rod recipe and the cloak enchant immediately spawned.

As of 17 Oct 08 (just after patch 3.0) she seems to be bugged. I am on hour 12-14 of camping her for the pattern. When I look, she will offer me the Arcanite Rod and Felcloth Pants pattern. I close the window, check 2 minutes later and she will still offer Arcanite Rod, but Felcloth Pants are gone? And the Superior Defense has yet to be offered.

Can anyone support this?

Update: since i logged on this morning, I CAN confirm the pattern appeared roughly 3-4 hours later. As for the Felcloth Pants, it is still acting weird.

Respawn rate on this recipe was approximately 10 minutes.

Purchased it and the recipe for Arcanite Rod at the same time. Returned 10 min later on the same toon and purchased again.

Scratch that - just left town and went back and in the time it took me to post the superior defense recipe had spawned. about 23 minutes total.

Been camping for over 30 minutes. Purchased Pattern: Felcloth Pants and it has respawned, but no luck with this recipe yet.

Respawn time for this (as of 3.0.3) seems to vary between 15 and 45 minutes, timed several times with friends. For myself it took 20 minutes.

Camped this today for over 50mins, no drop, got 2x arc and 2x fel in the mean time.

I stepped out to lunch, approx 1h 10m later I checked up, still not there. Checked 2 mins later and it appeared. I would estimate this is on a 2hr timer on the Uldum server, perhaps they have revolving timers, not sure if Blizz is in the practice of this.

Yeah, i've been waiting here at the spawn for quite some time now. I have previously purchesed the Formula for the Rod, but there was no formula for the cloak... I have had the Rod Formula spawn on my 3 times already. Are you sure it is a for sure
15-45 minute spawn? (I also made sure that there was no one else at the vendor.)

ive been here with no one in town for 5 hours and no spawn for this enchant, this server is and aussi one called gundrak it's really anoying how im here for 4 hours and few freinds its only a 25-35 mins respawn for them

I bought the arcanite rod formula on Tanaris server at 1:00pm server time on a sunday. I checked every minute and the felcloth pattern spawned at 1:13pm...still checking every minute and the Cloak pattern spawned at 1:25pm realm time...good luck

67 minutes clicking ever couple of seconds (I'm impatient lol). Watched a lot of druids run past. Nobody else stopped at her. She still doesn't have it. Got 4 runed arcanite rod formulae and 1 felcloth pants pattern. I'll update when she finally drops it.

Edit: Alright so 12 minutes later, 1 more Formula: Runed Arcanite Rod, and then this formula dropped.

when i went there all three recipes where up bought them all came back 10 mins or so later and enchant cloak greater defense was there again

I walked up to her and bought the Runed rod enchant sat there for 5 mins checked twice in the 5 mins 2nd time i checked it was there

This recipe has not spawned for over 1 and a half hours on the EU server Khadgar. Which is kinda annoying :S

Got 2 Arcanite Rods in about 2 minutes. I'll let you all know how long it takes to get the Enchant Cloak recipe. Posting this as of Patch 3.2.

EDIT: Got the Cloak enchant about 5 mins after getting 2 Arcanite Rod enchants! Not bad.

Hopefully the respawn times weren't increased for this patch.

EDIT: Got the rod recipes after 2 hours of camping. It's the only one I've seen in the entire two hours and I check every five minutes or so :(

Moonglow is actually nuetral to both sides, and has both horde and alliance NPCs there.

You would actually need to take the same cave in northern Felwood that you would take going to Winterspring for the first time, you would just keep heading north instead of taking that turn to go east. This would bring you to Moonglade(requires a high level or Unfriendly faction with that Furbolg clan)

Walked through the cave as a 48 priest, came into town.. When I found the vendor she only had the Rod recipe. Finished looking around town (took all of 5 minutes) and came back and she had the cloak recipe on her.

I parked an alt in front of the vendor most of the day yesterday. I checked every few minutes for almost 2 hours before I gave up. I loged back in and checked each hour for 6 hours before it was restocked. Its possible someone could have bought it inbetween my checks, but this can't possibly be an "hourly" respawn.

Went to Nighthaven and got Formula: Runed Arcanite Rod. Had to wait 5minutes for the cloak to appear.

"Formula: Enchant Cloak - Superior Defense" is very nice for leveling 290-300 enchanting

traveled to moonglade and when i got there she only had the runed arcanite rod recipie, bought it twice and after total of 20minutes the back formula appeared =)

As it's limited supply, the respawn is up to 1 hour.

Took about 4 hours from the last confirmed purchase.

While I was waiting, I wanted to test a couple things out, so I brought my Druid out on another account. I wanted to see how the vendor behaved if I didn't repeatedly open and close the vendor window.

- It will not magically show up on an open vendor screen. You have to close the vendor, and re-open it to see the items.
- The TSM Group buy operation won't work either unless you close the vendor and reopen it. You can't simply click "Buy Group" over and over again.

Good luck. Had I known it was going to take 4 hours, I would have farmed gold and did it a different way.
