Didn't these tablets used to be much closer to each other? I haven't done the Darkshore quests in some time, but I have done them in years past with several night elf characters. I swore they were both in the northern section of Ameth'Aran. (i see a definite dividing line in the middle of the area that goes east to west... sorry if that makes no sense)

Translations for those of you that can't read Darnassian:

The Lay of Ameth'Aran:
Long had the children of the stars dwelled upon the banks of the shimmering waters of the Eternal Well. To all was known that Elune, light of the eternal twilight, aspect and goddess of the moon, dwelt withing its waters at such time that she rested from her works. Upon the shores of the Well did the children of the stars, favoured of Elune, build their homes, even as their gaze was trained ever skyward, into the moonlit night.

Though there were many towns and places of habitation constructed upon the lakeshore, Ameth'Aran and Bashal'Aran were the foremost, having the touch of Azshara, the Kaldorei's beloved queen, in their creation. Her favored servitors, those of the highborne, she brought to the twin towns to reside, and to govern them she placed Athrikus Narassin, though it would be that he would spend most of his days in his Tower of Althalaxx, some ways removed of the towns.

His second, a mage known of his prowess in the arcane arts as much as with his physical abilities, was Asterion, who lived among the people of Bashal'Aran, and went many times to Ameth'Aran, to see to the needs and wants of its people.

And so it was, upon the shores of the Well of Eternity, the twin towns grew and prospered, while the world beneath the stars fell slowly to madness.

The Fall of Ameth'Aran:
The earth trembled as the ancient trees in the enchanted forest were uprooted and toppled. The groves and glades tended by the sons and daughters of Cenarius and the stone towers of the children of the stars were brought to the rolling ground. There was our queen, radiant even in the desperation, in the chaos that was the battles. The enchanted changed colors with the discharge of magic, with the explosions that threathened to tear the world asunder.

Brother fought brother. Chosen fought blessed. It was not all the highborne that fought. Some stood, transfixed, as the madness took them. Mighty cities and humble towns alike were felled around them.

In Ameth'Aran, all was in ruins, its people clinging to the ground as though that might spare them from the destruction. It was then that Athrikus Narassin, favored of Azshara appeared to guide them to safety.

With a spell he could protect them, he would say. While around them, brother and sister, father and mother perished, they would have life eternal. And naught to fear from the sundering that was to come...

Hey there, for all interested parties..

If you go to the official website for World of Warcraft, you will find a button on the left hand side of the screen which will allow you to download and install a set of add-ons, about 58 files in all, which will add to your gaming fun.

Just click on it and follow the directions carefully, and I think your gaming on WoW will improve and become much more enjoyable.

Please remember that out of all of the add-ons, you may pick and choose which ones you would like to have active, following the installation process.

You get the quest from a chick on the road, I'm pretty sure she is past the sign for the ruins.

Tysha Moonblade is located on the road east of the BOTTOM of the Ameth'Aran castle picture on the map.

I just recently got WoW on my computer so I don't have coords yet. I didn't relise how hard it would be without them. People continuously give coords...even post similar coords all the time. For those that do have coords, just post the correct coords once, for those without them, there needs to be a description of the location.

Read the first post and it helped me find the one that's lieing down. As for the other, the description didn't help all that well. But I found it anyway. Not sure how though. I didn't even read them, I was just not in the mood so glad the writing of one was posted. Thx

Both pieces are in the area, one north, another south.
Make sure you have also quest 'Tools of the Highborne'. You kill the ghost mobs there in same area as tablets to save playtime or walking 2 times.

The tablets run on a east/west axis from each other on the edges of the camp.

i know this has been posted already, but ill say it again in more detail:
download the addon, go find the file and unzip it, copy the unzipped file, go to My Computer -> Local Disc (C:) -> Program Files -> WoW -> interface -> addons, then paste unzipped file in the addon folder.
restart warcraft completely, go to ur login character screen. on the bottom left corner, there's an AddOns button. enable load out of date (top right corner)... log in and there ya go. the addon will show you what coordinate you are at and where your mouse is at in the map screen(M).

The coordinates of 43,59 and 43,63 are perfect I just did this quest today Tablets are huge so they are easy to find Be sure u have the quest 'Tools of the Highborne' with u when doing the fall of Ameth'aran because u will pick up the relics as u kill to get to the tablets. Happy Hunting

Saddly, both tablets are written in Elven, so only Elves will be able to read them.

Not that hard to do, Tablets are at rear of ruins, far right and far left. You should be able to isolate one or two mobs, take them out then run in and read the tablet. If you feel brave you can take the time to read the two pages of story or just close it after it opens. Either way after you close it return and get your silver from the guy on the road.

okay, i'm new to WOW and feel like a complete moron for asking... but where the heck is Tysha Moonblade? She's who i have to get back in contact with to complete the quest, but i cant find her for the life of me! any help would be appreciated.

As Xabdaren notes, these aren't hard once you know where the tablets are.

One tablet is found lying down on the NE side of the undead camp. The other is found standing on the S/SE side. Both are reasonably close to the camp edge, so you can scoot around the edge of teh camp, locate them, then kill a few nearby mobs, run in, read and dash out.

The tablets are both square-shaped, so they are different from the other rubble lying around. Once seen they stand out.

Good luck reading the tablets if you're not a NE, they're in Darnassian... interestingly enough, you can still complete the quest despite this.

Descrizione

To the east you will find the ruins of Ameth'Aran. It is now inhabited by the restless spirits of the Highborne that once dwelt within its walls, but once it was a place where the servants of Azshara freely practiced their powerful magics.

I was sent to explore the ruins and came across two large tablets, scrawled with the stories of Ameth'Aran and its fall. While I read the runes, I was accosted by the spirits, and fled.

Please, if you can, venture to the ruins and decipher the tablets in my place.
