Just follow the road to the right, a major graveyard will appear after a few seconds. It will be crawling with them there, and the respawn time is very fast. In mine case(holy priest lvl 55), about 10 min max. for this q.

I went in as a 50 solo and didnt have too hard a time if i was full health. I could take on 2 no problem tanking with void. But you have to be very careful at 50 because the aggro range is pretty high and as they run toward you it seems they yell, and others follow. Graveyard is fairly close.......lol. Group up if you can. Drops runecloth about 25%.

Just go to Sorrow Hill to the East after entering Western Plaguelands. 46, 80 is one location where you can find the Skeletal Flayer you need.

This is easily done, if somewhat time consuming by staying just inside the gates... duck outside to recharge. Solo'd as 50 mage.

This quest is very easy, soloed it at 50 (could've soloed it at 48, but didn't get the quest)

The location is 48,81. The entrance is at: 46,81. The Skeletal Flayer mobs are between lvl 50 and 51. The Slavering Ghouls are 50-52. These will also drop runecloth so if u need that this is one place to go.

Here's the details...

Direction: Go NE along road from quest-giver camp. You'll quickly see the cemetary gate. I went right once inside the gate and delt with the solo skellies first (rest of areas are mixed and grouped).

Notes: Poisons will stick but you can't make the skellies bleed (you should be used to this - sucks). Both hit pretty solidly. Ghouls poison you as well (2 mins - will interrupt stealth + nature dmg + weaken your dmg). LVL 50-52

No way to single pull stealthed in most cases. I found throwing reduced multi-pulls as well. Generally stayed in the middle of the road.

I think the reason for multi-pull problems is players pulling and not accounting for mobs moving between headstones or not having ranged ability. Agro zones zigzag as they come to you. Start on the outside and work inward...

For both mobs, keep them stunned and let the poisons work. You can bleed the ghouls as well. I tried to keep slice'n'dice going between eviscerates too.

There are some skellies as you come in and immediately to the right in some small hills. Easy to stealth kill. Should get you started.

Hag had nothing good to say to me.

Play smart and its pretty easy. Sloppy = close calls/vanish/greater healing potions. Don't forget the ghouls' poison does damage to you.

Casters: I'm guessing AOE is a bad idea in here.

Very fun. Did this with my 50 MM Hunter. With some careful pulls, and frost/freeze traps, this quest was enjoyable. Even if you die, it's just around the corner from the graveyard ( a welcome change from Un'Goro and Tanaris).

Be sure to pick up the Argent Dawn quest from Officer Pureheart before you do this quest, as you will get faction with Argent Dawn for each kill while you complete it.

There is actually another place that has lower level mobs. Cords are 37, 60. lvl50 Skeletal flayer and lvl52 slaveling ghoul. (who on erth thought of names like that..)

At level 50 this gets you 5100 XP and an increase in reputation with Stormwind.

Why does Alliance get to have such an easy quest to unlock the amazingly fun quest chains for the Scourge Cauldrons and Scholomance, while we have to do the pain in the ass quest "Scarlet Diversions", which we have to go past multiple healing and Arcane Missile (175 dmg per missile) mobs to unlock the same quest chains? Sure, I know we don't have to do any quests to get the Into the Scarlet Monastery quest while Alliance has to do a chain with three prerequisties, but those prerequisites are easy. "Scarlet Diversions" is freaking impossible to solo with any toon that's 55 or lower. Thank God I have a 70 main that can just clear out the area for me to carry out the quest, or I'd be waiting hours to find someone on this quest.

I think Blizzard pampers the Alliance too much, makes things to easy for them, while we have to actually do some work.

This is a great quest for getting into the Plaguelands and earning Xp. Easy for me as a lvl 50 Warrior - I just pulled and killed at will. 5500 XP and 500 XP for simple next quest. Evrything from here will be harder but anyone around my lvl can spend ages grinding in the graveyard and do very well from XP and drops. Get the FP into Chillwind camp and use it to travel from there.

Just LVL 50 and gone to WPL to start it......much XP for kills and not that hard either!

Bonus of looting bundles of Runecloth....AH here I come

Apparently this quest has been marked obsolete by Blizzard. The announcement banner appears at the top of this page for about 1 second then disappears, just in case anyone else has spent hours deep diving into every possible reason why you can't get it.

With Andorhal's western and northern roads into the city well fortified, I'm looking to strike at it from the less defended eastern road. The Scourge relies on the buffer of undead that infests Sorrow Hill as a first line of defense. If we are to advance on Andorhal, we will need to do it through Sorrow Hill.

Your first assignment will be to clear the way through Sorrow Hill. Thin out the skeletons and ghouls that haunt the area; report back to me when this is done!
