Imbued Armor drops off of Glacial Sprit (water elemental's), which can be located in almost any water through the center of the zone. I checked the water on the southern end of the zone and did not find any of the mobs down there.

The drop rate seemed around 20% when I did it.

ok i just tried killin these after the battle and after killing nearly 30 of them not one dropped. So im guessing you have to kill them while the battle is going on.

The breastplates can drop from Water Revenants and Glacial Spirits. They do drop if you're in a raid, and they drop from Water Revenants and Glacial Spirits outside the Glacial Falls, too, unlike what the quest implies. I'm not sure about the dropping from Alliance part.

Also, they do drop at all times - not only when a battle is on. The drop rate is really bad, though, so don't be discouraged if one doesn't drop for a while.

Remember guys, you cannot do this quest while your in a raid, which you might be if you're fighting for the castle !

As of May 4, 2009:
While in control of WG and no battle going on, I had a 100% drop rate from Glacial Spirits and Water Revenants.
Coords are: 37,37 to 37,55.

Since 3.1 I believe, the quest elements drop 100% items whether you have WG or not.

Incidently, if you have WG the bigger elements often drop 3-4 and player corpses drop 5

Wotlk Classic 2022: Really bad droprate, killed like 10 of those elementals and no drop.

Killed 20.. got zero. Had the quest and WG buff. Not worth it.

Hoodoo Master Fu'jin at Wintergrasp Fortress wants you to retrieve 10 Enchanted Alliance Breastplates at the Glacial Falls.

Hey 'mon. This place be givin' me dah heebie jeebies, don't cha know?

Way too many spirits haunting dis place. I want ta be placing hoodoo wards up, but I be needin' some souls, mon. Not any soul though, only da soul of a strong warrior could do da job.

The Glacial Falls in east Wintergrasp be havin' dem special properties to extract da soul. Slay the Alliance there, mebbe they be havin' the stuff we need.

Bring back da armor of the slain. If there be no Alliance maybe da elementals got 'em, mon.
