South sink hole. I cleared a bit, collapsed the sink hole... then out came Lord Kryxix. East to kill on my Holy Priest... and solo, at that.

Important to clear a bit because Kryxix will wander a bit west before it becomes targetable. Easy solo kill however.

He spawns at the South end of the pit, then walks up to the North end, then he gets targetable. Just clear the couple Mobs at the North end & your good :)

VERY easy solo. 70 Rogue solo'd :D

Probably obvious, but I'm working on the achievement as we speak and I thought I'd mention, it counts toward Loremaster Of Northrend.

I stood on the south edge of the sinkhole and used the remote. The Shake-N-Quake 5000 came at the sinkhole from the north. Lord Kryxix first appeared, unattackable, southwest of the sinkhole and travelled along the west rim and came to the Shake-N-Quake at the north rim. The SnQ vanished (without being attacked) and Lord Kryxix went aggro there at the north rim.

If this is going to be a consistent feature of this encounter, clearing the north edge of the sinkhole of possible adds will be advantageous. Of course, I had chosen to clear the SOUTH edge... but it wasn't all that difficult a fight. The adds were more difficult to kill than Lord Kyrxix.

If you use the item too soon after another player Lord Kryxix won't spawn and you will need to use the quest item a second time.

Behold, the machine that will save us from the Nerubian threat!

Take this remote control with you, and go out to the southernmost of the Nerubian sinkholes in the Geyser Fields. Use the remote to activate the Shake-n-Quake 5000. It will do the rest on its own.

Don't be surprised if the quake it creates attracts the attention of a Nerubian leader. In fact, it would be a great opportunity to finish off the Nerubian offensive.
