WARNING!

As soon as you have access to the mailbox, do complete the quest.
Siouxie will despawn as you progress through the quests around Death's Breach and you wont be able to get your pet.

I talked to a GM for 30mins and he couldnt help me getting one of the pets.

Although i do not know if you can still complete the "Welcome" quest as i did not get the 1st collector's edition, Siouxsie reappears after you get all the way through the phasing quests and the Ebon Blade controls Acherus.

Fun Fact: Aside the reference, Siouxsie the Banshee was a Death Knight Trainer in WotLK Alpha, around June 2008. She had a camp right outside Light's Hope Chapel before the Scarlet Enclave or Ebon Hold was implemented.

This is why she says: "I no longer train Death Knights, having grown weary of cretinous Initiates and their constant questions".

WotLK is full of gothic rock references. One I caught earlier today was when I was questing in Howling Fjord and noticed one of them sent me about the Sister Mercy... as in Sisters of Mercy. :D
