Currently this item is not a "charged" item, but rather a self heal on a 2 minute cooldown (exactly like a potion, but with the added effect of not needing to make more than one). In other words it never goes away (unlike injectors).

It also is usable in the arenas (unlike 99% of alchemy's creations).

It's about time alchemists got something useful outside of a situational trinket XD

While the most interesting part of the endless potions is obviously in arena's they are also a new way of reducing downtime, since you can use them while grinding with no regard for cost.

This item's icon is somewhat remeniscent of a Klein Bottle, a bottle-like shape, with no distinct inner and outer sides, hence the "endlessness".

It seems the newest Beta Patch (8970) removed this item and replaced it with the Endless Rejuvenation Potion.

Its effect reads as followed (since it isn't in the WoWhead database yet):

Requires Alchemy (400)
Use: Restores 1680 to 2160 health and 400 to 600 mana.

Does this mean serious arena competition will require alchemy, or is there a buyable equiv for the masses? 2k health isn't a lot at 80, sure, but it can turn the tide in many a battle.

Ever have a situation in a 2v2 where one person on each team dies at the same time, forcing a 1v1? Pop this, and it's very likely you're now fighting 2v1.

In the latest build (3.0.3):

3 minute cooldown,
Heals for about 3000 (if you have your Alchemist's Stone equipped),
Useable in Arenas,
The item is never consumed (unlimited charges),
and it requires Alchemy (400) to use.

For Alchemist/Herbalists, macroing this with Lifeblood can result in some serious healing. Neither of these triggers the global cooldown, so you can cast both at once, and with an Alchemist Stone equipped, you can get some serious healing from the macro - 5k in 5 seconds. So, basically you'll have a macro that heals for several thousand health, that costs nothing, and can be used just about every 3 minutes, assuming you don't keep yourself in combat.

Here's the really simple macro I use - as long as the Healing Potion is first, it'll show the Potion's 3-minute cooldown on the icon instead of Lifeblood's, so you'll know when both are ready for use again.

Does this item fall under the 'potion cooldowns are suspended until out of combat' rule.

In other words if you drink this in combat and continue to be in combat will this cooldown not start until you leave. Or is this truely an endless health potion?

Does anyone know if Quick Recovery and Mighty Alchemist's Stone will stack together? If so, for how much bonus healing? +60% (20% + 40%) or +68% (20% x 40%)?

Something weird about the learning of this potion: Alchemy trainer will teach it later that Runic Healing Potion, meaning you need higher alchemy rank to learn this potion than the Runic one. But once you learn it, it will show as a lower skill in your alchemy skill list. Hence, color of difficulty will be lower. Something similar happens with some Leatherworking items.

Down part of this issue is, you will need furthermore resources to learn it than the Runic Healing Potion (cause it's taught after). Then, once you learn it, it can become useless for leveling up your alchemy.

I use my Endless Healing Potion frequently, since it is free. It has saved me a few times in Arenas.

Blizzard needs to make more of these type of consumable items, where it might cost a bit to make and is weaker than a similar one-time use item, but it lasts forever.

Because of the trigger of the cooldown, if you're considering using this purely because its free, perhaps Crazy Alchemist's Potion would be a better alternative in sticky situations (exception of arena, naturally) , given it's so cheap to make it's practically free.

Does this mean you can ONLY use in arenas? I know it says sanctioned, but that could imply use it "specific" or "really helps" in the arena enviorment. I just learned the spell and I'm about to make one, but I figured I would ask the Community before I go ahead and make them, possibly saving me 10 Runic Healing Potions in the process.

Its a very good item to have if you can drop the 30+ gold for it, 2000 health is never a bad thing.

With the upcoming profession changes:

Endless Healing Potion and Endless Mana Potion no longer usable in arenas. Amount of health and mana has been increased, and the cooldown reduced. They are still usable everywhere else.

Restores 1500 to 2500 health currently, although it was 2700 to 4500 on the test realm.

I never made this, though tempting, because the health restored is 1500-2500... much less HP restored than one Runic Mana Potion which restores 2700-4500 HP. My 80 warrior now has 27,000 HP so I don't see the point of wasting a potion cooldown on Endless Healing Potion.

The endless healing potion is soulbound. Is there anyway to trade it to someone else? Is there anyway to unbind it? I am pretty new to WOW, still trying to figure stuff out. I have only been playing since April. Thanks for any advice.

it says requires 400 alch, but its not tradeable and takes 410 alch to make...so if you decided to drop alch and then switch back to it later and for some reason you didnot destroy it, you would get to use it 10 lvs before you could make it. but other than that there is no point in having a 400 alchemy requirement.

~~Okay, since I don't see it updated I'd like to post it. This can be used in arenas as of 3.3 and as such makes Alchemy a very appealing PvP profession to take.~~

EDIT: Though you still can't use the Endless Mana Potion in arenas.
EDIT 2: This is no longer true, as of 3.3.5, the Endless Healing Potion is no longer usable in arenas.

As it stands, Flask of the North is the only arena buff Alchemist get. (+47sp/+80ap/+40strength)

Was nice as a druid because you got +47sp, which is +1sp more then Enchanting gives to ring slots, as well as a 1.5-2.5k instant heal every 1min, which i must omit is greater than Herbalisms 3.6k Lifeblood HoT over 5 sec with 3min CD.
Was like enchant+herb abilities in one.

I find this works well with my Mage although I combine it's use with Runic Healing Potions too. Basically if I'm in big trouble I'll pop a Runic, but if I just need a top up I'll use this. Same with mana pots. Overall I think they're worth having because they do pay for themselves in the end. The reason certain peeps don't like them is because they're most likely playing as tanks or other melee classes and for them the amount they heal is nothing really, but I would point out that alchemy is not a proffession they would normally choose in any case. It's more for the cloth/leather classes where the effect is more noticeable in my opinion.

Admittedly, this is not, nor will it be as good as a runic potion. However, for me and i'm sure more people, it presents a nice easy way to save money. When questing or when doing random dungeons, i find i don't feel like wasting runic potions. Until I made this, i had to use older, less expensive potions which restored the same amount as this, or i had to waste runics. This allows me to just pop a little somethin-somethin without having to consume anything i have to replace later.

This would be a great item if it did the same amount of healing as the potions it uses (2700 to 4500) since it has no charges and seems to last forever but the healing is so low on it that it is hardly worth having. Maybe they will increase the amount later, doubtful though.
