The first part (1) of this info are for those who by any chance read this section before they finish their Deathknight quests and the second (2) is for those who read it after.

UPDATE: As of 2010 you can no longer have more than one stack of these!

1) While you can, farm loads of these and turn them in for Noth's Special Brew. This is just because DK's rely solely on great strength, armor and stamina to survive and don't have any greater means of healing themselves, except for health potions with 60 sec cooldown or corresponding potions. These are guaranteed to help you tremendously later in the game for many levels to come as they are instant cast (no need to sit and drink) and give a lot of health and 50% rune power. I used these from start up until level 80. Somewhere between 150-200 of these would certainly be adequate.

2) As it's said in the other Crusader Skull section, these are completely useless in every way possible after you've finished your Deathknight quests. Only from the point of your second New Avalon-quest, where you kill the villagers and start looting skulls, up until the point where you get the Deathknight promotion is it possible to turn these in for Noth's Special Brew.

After this you should definitely throw them away. There's no point in trying too sell these either since no DK's can buy them before they finish the DK quests and the skulls are rendered useless.

Great comment! Thank you! Wish I had researched about these skulls before my DK got promoted. Have some extra skulls (still) in my bags (am level 62 as I write this comment) and was NOW researching to see if I can turn them in for some more of that good brew. NOT! =[
