Location 35,77 for the circle, use one of the feathers you've collected.
After using the feather you will get a (Pet bird) totem witch last for 10 minutes, before that time you have to see Daranelle at 37,65 to finish the quest (3,50 Gold and 8550 XP)

Be sure to use the coordinate for Daranelle she is by path going through town . She had no mark over head and I kept passing her lol.

Don't try to cast the spell and then hearth back to Sylvanaar, it will cancel the spell.

I first thought the token you got was just a fun detail and nothing important - but it is! Do not disband the bird, you need to get to Daranell (37,65) before the token disappears. :)

After you finish the quest and she says that she must analyze it first, then she will talk. She doesn't actually give you another quest so don't wait around like I did. ^.^

In addition to not hearthing after getting the pet bird, also avoid leaving Veil Rhaze by jumping down any of the cliffs that lead out of it, because the bird won't follow; you have to go through Veil Rhaze and back through its entrance to get the bird to come with you. Once this happens, there's no way to get the bird back and you have to abandon the quest.

I found out the hard way.

If you're a Druid lvl 68 this is a very easy quest complete. The bird follows you while you're shapeshifted in your Flight Form. Don't go up too high, because when you're moving he does stay close to the ground, but he does not aggro any mobs. All Coords are correct, the turn in chick is a Centaur outside the big building where u repair =)

This appears to be bugged at the moment - at least for Draenei Shamans. I made it to Daranelle with the bird and buff still intact, and she spoke up when I drew near - the "Good, <name>, you are still under the spells influence. I must analyze it quickly, then we can talk." line. Yet I was still unable to turn in the quest - the questionmark was still grey, and she had no options when rightclicked other than the 'continue' screen with a greyed out continue button.

If you are at lvl 70 and have a flying mount you can both fly above everything. Makes it very easy.

When i went to turn quest in i didnt get the usual yellow circle to tell me where the person was not sure if bug but cords are 37,65 for daranelle

Daranelle does not appear on the Minimap with a ? sign, you must walk past Daranelle, she will talk and you can complete the quest.

Rewarded me 8550 experience, aswell as 3 gold 50 silver.

This quest is a bitch.... you cant use feing death becouse the birds will still aggro on you. also if you die you gotta restart it..... i died 3 times already and thinkg about abonding it

If you die, the bird disappears and you have to go get it again.

Just a little sidenote for you who are wondering. After you use the questitem in the ring and the pet spawns, it is possible to mount up and run trough the mobs to Daranelle.(good luck with not being dazed ;)

Rogues you are able to Stealth and still have the bird follow you without mobs attack your or bird resetting.

Be aware that using your flight mount will keep you from completing the 2nd part of the quest as the bird cannot follow you

The circle you need to summon the pet bird is at the place where you read the book to accept the quest, on the ground not far from the main road. for a while i thought Daranelle would provide me with the circle, thats NO. now once you use the summoning circle, i mounted on horse (not flying) and ran outta there to Daranelle, and if you get close enough she will do some type of action and can you can talk to her to turn it in.
dont do what i did for 10minutes wondering where the cirlce is, its at the place u read the book, not in the alliance town.

You must walk back with the bird. If you fly, you will lose it and the Daranelle will not speak to you and complete the quest.

I used fistful of feathers first in the purple circle and nothing happened just some light thing,, and then i did the same thing on green circle, ,same thing,, a green light,, i got back to town and above Sylvanaar´s head is no yellow question mark,, cant understand,, nvm, kicked out the q and did something else.

This quest was CAKE. Literally!

I'm a lvl 67 Balance Druid on Shandris,
and I just went to the circle closest to the road, used the circle,
rooted a mob to the ground and ran to the chick.
Got it done in 9 minutes. :)

Ok, this quest is pretty easy... .

1. clear the entrance to the road FIRST.
2. clear to the first yellow pagan glowy symbol on the ground thing. (just to the right of the road by a hut) --meany in there, get him first.
3. use the feathers.
4. mount up
5. bolt to town
6. Daranelle will NOT show you a "?" but hail "it" and you finish the quest.

It's kinda like an escort mission.

She's at 37 65 in Sylvanaar. It's a timed even so might wanna find her first so you can run up.

As suggested in previous quest thread here:

Malaise used Slow Fall ( you pick up Light Feathers for this mage spell) to drop right down onto the circle from the tree after reading the book. Once there just click the bunch of feathers, A bird appears next to you which will follow. And simply ride out back down the path to the road and back to Sylvanaar.

One thing, the quest giver does not have a yellow marker until you actually come back ext to her. She is at
37.65 outside the main hall. Very nice 18,850xp for the two and an easy quest.

The circles are on the floor, there's two. A green one half way in from enterance and a purple one round the corner. Summon a bird using the Fistful of Feathers and go back to the quest giver in Sylvanaar.

ran to path leading to green spell circle, clicked fist of feathers , bird poped on my head , ran back to,Daranelle , got text msg about being under the spells influence ,she said wait a sec while she analyze it, then she showed yellow question mark above her head , clicked complete,=8500 exp.

Since the August 2009 patch, 3.2, you can use a flying mount, making this quest a snap except for one thing. You outrun the bird who is supposed to follow you back to Daranelle and you can't turn in. She just smiles and tells you how eager she is to see the results. If you use feathers, get spirit buff, then only fly outside the hostile camp and then land and run the rest of the way in on the ground you'll see the bird following. Pull camera way back or swing it around to check. When you get to Daranelle, wait a few seconds for the question mark to turn yellow and you can turn in.

Took me five tries because the first four times when I got to Daranelle, I still had the buff, still had the little icon of a raven marked "10 m" (the trip back takes more like ten seconds than ten minutes if you fly) up there with my other buffs, but apparently the bird was too far away. Waiting for the ? to turn yellow did not help. Seems the bird must stay within a reasonable distance or it fails, even though the buff icon does not tell you so.

First post. Circle is at 35,77. Stood in middle, used feathers. When you get the bird as your pet, mount up and run. Once you get to Daranelle, question mark turns yellow. Coords are right for Daranelle. Easy quest. 66 Rogue, ran past bad guys, vanished inside circle, used feathers, ran back.

I can't believe you people think this quest is easy. I, to this point, have died over five times. I can get to the circle, use the feathers, but getting out to turn in is proving to be quite impossible. And then you have to fight to get back to the circle.

This was a cake walk...just clear out the path up to the first hut where the symbol is, it was blue for me, (there is also a path if you wind around to your right as you get to the top of the path...clear out those 2 guys as well..) use the feathers the bird will appear and then just run back to the village. There was no need for me to mount up to go back. There was one guy that came after me but I kept running.

I didn't do this quest until 68, so as a druid i had flight form. Every time I tried to fly away, I lost the buff, you have to stay on the ground for this quest.

Seems like if you get too far/go too fast you'll outrange the little bird that follows you and won't complete the quest. So don't hop on your epic mount and book it. Go a bit slow so it keeps up but keep moving and you can run past all the mobs

As some other comments have mentioned, it seems you can lose the bird/spell by going too fast or taking shortcuts. Taking my epic mount and just running to Daranelle the fastest route I lost the buff twice, but was able to do it by walking along the path :P

Description

The pictograms indicate using feathers to cast the spell at one of the circles of power in Veil Lashh.

Confusing iconography seems to show an arakkoa being suffused with the spirit of a kaliri.
