Yes. Currently to become an Artisan Alchemist, you must be level 35.

I'm level 27 and thus a frustrated 225 Expert Alchemist. :)

I have no idea what the whole "task" thingy is about...I hit 40 with my mage and came back to her, thinking it was probably a 40 level req, but nothing happened.

Kylanna Is in the Northern Part of Feathermoon in the Feathermoon Stronghold. She is at the BOTTOM of the Spiralish tower beside the pool.

She'll only teach you the Artisan/Last Form of Alchemy if:

- You have 225 skill points in Alchemy.

- You are lvl 35.

Can anyone tell me why i am lvl 47, have an alchemy skill of 250+ and yet she won't teach me anymore? She talks abou tthis stupid quest but won't give it to me. Is it just a bug or what?

I don't know why they list her anywhere else, but go to Feathermoon. (have to take boat to get flight path)

Apparently there is no quest, from the last potion she teaches you.........you then need to farm or buy recipes to level up to 300.......

As far as I can telll there is no task the recipes you learn are only up to 250 after that everything is found.

OMG i just figured this out...

I went at level 35 and 225 skill to Kylanna Windwhisper in Feralas and I spent 3 days trying to figure out why she wouldn't train me...

Once I hit train me, i only had a list of recipes that were higher level than me.

when I clicked my filter dropdown on the recipes page, it was set to "Unavailable"! Just switch it to Available and now you'll be able to train. aaaaaaarg.

i came here as a lvl 35 priest. it wasn't too difficult except for a few run-ins with some high lvl horde. just avoid anything with a skull and you should be fine. =P

Im a 35 mage with 300/300 in alch, is there anywhere else than in Outlands you can teach Expert? I dont wanna beg for a warlock to summon me to that place.
I know i need lvl 50 btw ;p

Once your reach 300 skill u have to get to outlands to train further...

There's a grand master alchemist in Shattrath Lower City who teaches recipes starting at 270! https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=19052/罗罗基姆 He also teaches the Master alchemist skill (at 300 I think). I just found out that he had recipes for 270 up, not 300 up, when i went to buy the Primal Might transmute recipe to store for later... which is great because i'm 290, but I felt stupid for not knowing before. Felt less stupid when I figured out the reagents for the potions he taught me to make are in higher level zones that I can safely get to.

Since the maintanance downtime after patch 2.3, all the former Grand Masters suddenly were demoted to Masters. Lorokeem, the alchemy Grand Master in Lower City Shattrath is now just a Master, and the same has happened for leatherworking as well, all the outlying GMs were demoted. No one seems to want to divulge the location of the Grand Masters, I feel simply so they can learn the items and over charge on the AH as they do on Earthen Ring.

Is there a cap level AFTER 35? I learned all she had to offer me...but I'm not skilled up to 300 yet.

There are Alchemy recipes listed up to 315 or so - but the highest you can train to is 300? What's up with that?

Kylanna is a Master Alchemist who teaches students to be Artisan Alchemists (trainers can only teach to the level below themselves). You must be an Expert Alchemist with a skill of 200 and be level 35 before she will train you, it costs a little over 4g. She can start training you with recipes that require a skill of 205.

To find her in Feralas, from southern Desolace just follow the road south toward Feathermoon Stonghold. You will come to a cross roads just before a bridge with another sign for Feathermoon Stronghold leading you west to a ferry dock. Take the ferry to Sardor Isle. She is in the base of the tree house in town on the NE corner of the isle. Dont forget to get the flight path.

Once you reach a skill of 300 in alchemy and are level 50 you can seek a Grand Master Alchemist to learn Master Alchemy. Here are links to whom (the Alliance) can learn from:

Does anyone know what the co-oridinates are for the ferry that takes you to the island?

I found the ship that takes you to Feathermoon Stronghold. The co-ordinates are (43, 42). It leaves from a small pier.

Anyone know how much it costs to become a master alchemist? I wouldn't mind going before i waste my time going there to get it. Lucky for me, I just leveled to 35 a couple days a go :)

Yes the level cap sucks but thats the way it is.

Be sure to go back at around 240 and 260 as she teaches you a couple more potions including greater agility.

She's left as you get off the ferry. Or, find the building with 3 vendors on the ground floor (inn and two other i think) go south and shes not far.

Who trains you for Master Alchemist? I'm a 300 Alchemist. My highest skill lvl is Artisan. Should this be higher? I haven't been able to get anything from Kylanna.

She doesn't happen to sell any recipes does she? Or perhaps an alchemy supplies vendor in that area?

I'm trying to find an actual vendor that isn't a leftover from the beta who sells Greater Mana recipe.

Kylanna trains Alchemist to be Experts, i.e. Alch 225-300, but you have to be at least lvl 35 yourself to train.

I found this very easy...just run south from decolace which is a 32 + territory, stay on the road and ur fine...as long as u dont get ganked u dont have to fight n e 1...its just a hike

She does NOT teach Expert level alchemy in classic. I was just there, had 150/150 alchemy, and she refused to teach me anything, saying "come back when you have higher skill".

The comments do not specifically deny this, but the wowhead guide told me I could train expert in Feralas, which seems to be false. Long flight to Darnassus incoming..
