It took like 40 kills to get it.
I got a 0.4 drop on the 1st guy.
Make sure u are level 46-49 it would be a lot easier.

I must have killed 100 of these suckers before I got 1 Laden Dew Gland. It took approx. 3 hours to complete. :(

** Positive Note: I was rested and gained good XP during this time - 900+ / kill. :)

When I leveled my main a couple years ago, I must have killed a few dozen of these.

I realize drop luck has been all across the board on this one, but it does seem more people have had bad luck - as I did, originally.

However, on my alt which is leveling in the post 2.3 questing environment, this dropped on the second kill. Perhaps Blizz gave us a break on this one. I have noticed while leveling this alt that it seems as though several old "bad drop" quests have been revisited and made less painful.

Or, my Warlock alt is very, very lucky, all the time.

Correcting Atloid,

Patch 2.3 did not affect the drop rate of the Laden Dew Gland.

It still took me like 20 kills to get this.

Edit~~either im very lucky, or just a matter of the one i killed....it was at the lower reigon of where they all spawn..it was behind a few cactus and was concealed, i only found it because of "track elementals" (hunta abillity)

killing killing all the time killing - almost 4 h of slaying this mobs...I've already raported about this to GM's but as alwas they send greetings and do nothing about it.
Killed over 150 elementars and still nothing.

Got mine in my 3rd kill. Even though thats good, its not so bad if people had to kill like 50-100 to get it, u get exp from kills.

I've gotten items like this on my first kill and items like this on my 100th kill. It is purely random!

When I say like this I mean specifically this one as well, I've had many an alt do the noggenfogger chain

Got it after 3 kills on my pala but on my rogue it took me over 50 kills lol so i don't know if it's easy or hard to get XD both

I'm on like my, 30th kill..Maybe 40th..Still no Laden Dew Gland, this is really a put down..I've gotten a 3% drop item other than a Laden Dew Gland..Wow

i've grinded on these and the other similar looking creature for about 4 hours now and haven't had the quest item drop, anyone else have this trouble?

got it on my first drop out there and got a gut ripper out of one of the other drops out there nice dagger i put it on my rogue.

your hella dumb those are all world drops they can drop anywhere so grinding anywhere can get you those

Improved Barkskin Guide - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFaDEvMWbqw

1. At level 44, pick-up Barkskin from your class trainer.

2. Head to Thistleshrub Valley in Southwest Tanaris
-Just south of the entrance to Un'goro Crater

3. Defeat Thistleshrub Dew Collector until one drops Idol of the Raging Shambler

4. Equip Idol of the Raging Shambler and defeat 5 enemies using nature spells while under the effect of Barkskin

5. After the idol receives 5 charges, right click to get Improved Barkskin.
