Neither Spellsteal nor Dispel worked on removing his Shadow Power buff, we had to heal through each Shadow Power. This was on Normal mode.

Yes, they did change it, neither of the gatewatchers now drop badges, instead there are two badges each from the lockbox by the lift, so you have to kill both to get anything.
