While The Queen itself isnt hard to beat, its rather exhausting to beat because you have to fight waves of Hive Queen Guardian. Better bring help, or just try to beat the Queen the second its out. Then grab the brain, and runaway.

Like most of you after my first attempt I suspected this quest was impossible, and then reading i had to travel ALL the way back to Tanaris steamed me a bit. The next day I would give it one more try, for #$%^s and giggles, and my OCD that makes me finish every quest I have. All you have to do is pull them to the room opening, so they don't instantly aggro you, and on the last mob you always have as a mana user just wand it down, and gain all your mana back. The next wave doesn't come until after you killed the last mob in the current wave.

Level: 54

No mana pots, or potions used, just self buffs.

eziest way to get to the crystal is to enter the hive and head right the whole time ull end up by the crystal only like 6 mobs in the way all low 50ies then one u put the sent on the crystal 2 waves of 54 mobs attak you 2 in the first wave then 3 in the second

The easiest way to get to the crystal is to enter the hive (at The Slithering Scar) and head right the whole time and you'll end up by the crystal. There's only like 6 mobs in the way (all low-50's) then once you put the scent on the crystal 2 waves of 54 mobs attack you - 2 in the first wave then 3 in the second.
