These are the best pants for 29 Twink Rogues, Hunters, and even Feral Druids. I suggest having some higher level buddies to help you out with the quest, cause it can be quite tough.

Got them on my rogue lvl 25 with some other agi stuff giving me totaly 171 agility!!! ++ mid summer crit buff = 37% crit chance

Hmm imo not the best pants for twink rogues, since its a questreward you cant put cobrahide or clefthide on it. which is imo a very important.

I got these for my rogue at level 28, Still wearing them at 53, nothing i have seen in AH or as a pickup / reward even comes NEAR to these. The stats for the level are amazing.

Once up a time Triprunner's were the best BOP twink rogue/hunter item in the 29 bracket. But because of the Burning Crusade people can now buy lower level items and put leg armor kits on them making in some cases BOE > BOP for twinks.

Ex:
Triprunner: 101 armor, 3 str, 18 agi, 6 stam
Petrospill: 90 armor, 14 Agi + 10 or 12 Agil, 6 stam + 30 or 40 Stamina = 90 Armor, 24 or 26 Agil, 36 or 46 Stamina.

Jewdew4 yes u can enchant the legs enchant on the lvl 25 legs couse its boe and u just ask a lvl 60+ to enchant the legs for you before u put them on so they be boe.

Twinking issues aside, these leggings are extremely good for the level you can obtain them at. I was lucky enough to get them at level 27 on my rogue and they will serve me quite a long time.

as a rogue i held on to these until i got stormshroud pants which are only worth it if u get the full set.
Point is you will not find +18 agility for a LONG time

To re-iterate what has been said, rogues/feral druids (well all melee classes really + hunters) should get these ASAP. I've only just replaced them on my rogue at 1 bar from 59, they're that good!

so does anyone know if we can get them back if we sold them? all my twinks were before TBC, so when TBC came out and the leg armors came out too i vendored my tripprunners and got the boe legs with the leg armor. so i was just wondering if anyone had gotten them back from a GM or something.

Hordes can get this quest from the engineering trainer on Orgrimmar, it is caled rig wars.. You should realy get the quest chief engineerer scotty too which you can get from the engineering supplier in orgrimmar. The reward of that quest is a thing that teleports you to gnomeregan from booty bay.

these are the best twink pants for lvl 20-29 wsg Rogues/Hunters....these things are leetsauce i have 143 agility on my 29 rogue and i dont even have +15 agility on his daggers

For a rogue who mostly only needs agility, you won't come accross better pants until around level 45 at least, unless you're extremely rich or lucky.

Get used to the way they look, because you'll be wearing them for a looooong time.

as a rogue...find another high lvl rogue...and u two should be able to stealth run this boss...stealth in, as the higher rogue is tanking/killing the boss...the lower lvl rogue take care of the bombs. easy breezy ftw

I hired a level 50 Shaman to take me through this, and I already had the key from a previous attempt. The Gnomish Universal Remote (I think that's the name) came insanely in handy. Sure, it pulled huge aggro on me a couple times, but just as many times it gave me control of a boss-level mecha monster, which I used to wipe out the surrounding mobs. And just as many times, it disabled a tough mechanical monster, allowing myself and my ally to take care of the other mobs ourselves.
The pants are GREAT, I'm seriously considering becoming a 29 twink now that I have them.

These are no longer anywhere close to the best for a true twink rouge. The troll's bane leggings own it for one reason. The leather working threads. The plus 30 and 35 stam and plus 10 ans 12 agil threads can only be placed on itmes that are not bop since they have to be applied by a lv 60. Sure these are good legs, but the troll's bane with a plus 35 stam plus 12 agil on them own these.

I think how its funny how TONS of people have said "You can only put Clefthide Leg Armor on BoE leggings" and people STILL ask if they can put on these pants...To answer all your Q's...No you CANNOT put these on BoP leggings.

Ok let me make this clear you CAN put clefthide nethercleft cobrahide silver spellthred golden spellthread and the spell dmg ones on BoP stuff but you must be 60+ so lvl 1-59 cant put leg chanhts of BoP but 60-70 CAN

..this is true for paladins/warriors lvl29 atleast. So if you wonder about these or the mail pants. I would go mail.

But as its said here. Get a pair of level 29 required pants, and give it a leg enchant. Personally I got some mail pants with +9stm +9intellect and a leg enchant +46healing +16Spell damage +15stm. So..twink..think. Dont get some quest pants, when you can give a non-soulbound item enchants like this. :)

Clefthide Leg Armor has revolutionized twinking. A level 60-70 can attach it, it gives +30 Stamina and +10 Agility.

If you get these with +100 HP, you've done a mistake, because now Petrolspill Leggings / Troll's Bane Leggings are better because the Leg Armor can be attached to them, they are BOE. Triprunners are BOP, which makes them "immune" to this sweet "enchant".

Seriously, get these pants, do not bother doing gnomeregan until you can get the quest. Just get an armor kit to get them over their low armor rating.

The value of this blue item cannot be understated, +18 agi is huge, and it'll be a very long time before greens start outclassing it. Hunters may toss it at 40 for an upgrade to mail, but rogues can use them a *long* time.

Yeah i got these a while back too...I like the +18 agility but when i hit 38 theres another pair of rare leather pants im gonna get, i forget what they are called but they have +24 agility.

these are still viable pants for lvl 60... even though greens start to get better then, but still! you get the at lvl ~30 and you keep them for at least 20 lvls. Almost same thing with dual reinforced pants... my warrior still uses them at lvl 47... and my rogue replaced these pants with stormshroud ^^

These pants are great... If you dont take the time to get these you're crazy...I am 44 now and I am still using these. I still havent found better pants almost 20 levels later! =D

Got the quest today and finished it today, lvl 25 hunter. Got 2 guildies to help me out. We wiped once, completely my fault, forgot to dismiss pet when I hopped down a level. I dont know how many mobs there were, but I know there was atleast 11 dark iron landmines.

Get these pants as soon as you can. You can get the quest at level 25 and you can use these pants WAY passed that level.

My DPS warrior uses them. They have great stats, with all the agi, the armor isn't even noticed. When I tank I switch pants, granted, just so I don't get the "He's wearing Leather pants?" stares, but in reality, I don't see myself losing them til at least 50. Laugh all you want, I'll have the high crit rate, not you.

wish I had known about these pants earlier for my 29 twink hunter...

bought the Petrolspill Leggings for 30g in the AH, but haven't equipped them yet (been hoping to find something better and re-sell the pants for value/profit...just hope I have enough leeway with XP to get some high-lvl buddies run the hunter in to complete the quest for Rig Wars! lol

These are exceptional legs and will last well into later levels like those of 50 and beyond, so for aspiring 猎豹形态 druids, these are an absolute must have. There are very, very, very few improvements to these outside of 豪族短裤, then the superior option of 狮鹫骑士护腿, then the best in 旅行者护腿, for pure damage. The first and only real direct upgrade from these before getting into epic items is 迅影短裤.

These are incredible legs for any attack power-centric class that can use them - of course this includes Rogues, Ferals, Hunters and Shaman, but also Warriors and Paladin where I would consider these an upgrade over the commonly used 西部荒野马裤.

Mail users, do not make the mistake of picking the 双链护腿 over these!
