Interestingly enough, this is the only shield in the game not able to be equipped by a Warrior.

I invested in a Hulking Shield around level 20...ish I believe. Nothing I've gotten has come close to it so far, and it only cost me 50s :)

I have fought warriors up to 3 levels higher than myself and never lost. Deal with it, Ras, we just outclass you guys.

I think you guys need to think about this seriously, and not just say that the paladin is superior to the warrior because you don't have a warrior, you have a paladin. Grow up! Blizzard gives each class their strengths and weaknesses. Paladins have low output, high absorbtion. Warriors are the anithesis. And just like almost every other class matchup in this game (diregarding rogues vs. most spellcasters) it depends on how each character is played. Look at this from a third party standpoint, and it boils down to the individual characters, not the classes.

yeah pallies absorb graeter hits and wars hit harder so in that respect the classes even each other out, that is until the pally sheilds and heals, then the war better hope he has a gnomish death ray on him.

Not realy...I fought a pally just the other day and nefore i managed to full rage execute him he bubbled and healed...I just go nuki suki and he didn't stand a chance :)

Like someone said above it's not really a better or not better thing. I play a ret paladin and I can match the damage output of some warriors, not all mind you, but some. When I was 21 I took a 19 twink warrior (I think he was at half gear, as in half of his blues and half normal greens.) He really almost beat me, it came down to the wire, but in the end hammer of justice won it for me. He was a twink and I'm not. Different specs have advantages over other specs in terms of solo combat. I doubt a prot warrior can beat a holydin(Not a healbot with a shield, a holy paladin with a two hander.) or a retadin. But I doubt a prot paladin can best an arms/fury warrior in solo combat. Some specs are built for PvP others for PvE. The beauty of WoW is the equality of all classes. Certain racial traits can causes issues (Blizzard why did you overpower blood elves? Why!)) , but it's really an issue of the spec and player's skill. I guarantee that a powerful arms warrior with equally powerful gear could give me a very good fight.

but warroirs r good but they arent vitle in instances for the poster of such, a pala can tank just as well as them, so can a super twink druid in bear form

At higher levels paladins and feral druids can tank as good as warriors with the right spec, but that only applies to levels 50+. Under that a warrior is THE best tank, because they get tanking skills without talents. True, so do paladins and druids, but pala's and druids are HYBRIDS, which means their role is divided into more then 1 use, in which I mean healer tank or dpser. A warrior has only the dps and the tank sides, so it means it has more and better skills in the tank slot to make up for the loss of the healer side. Higher levels of paladins and druids can tank good because their talents make up for the loss of tank skills.

Why would a paly want to use 2 1handers or go fury spec'd? You lose ALL of your dps. Sure, it might go well w/ SoR, but that's it. You'd deal less dmg then a ret paly, cause they'd easily deal 2 times your dmg. righteosness deals 1/4 the dmg of command, and w/ 2 weap you'd be doing 1/2 the dmg. til ya figure procs, duel wielding will do 3/4 the dmg that a big slow 2hander will deal. Against an armored enemy, you also lose alot more than a 2hander, because against a hunter in blues (about 30% dmg reduc) and you attack them twice, once w/ each weap, you lose 60-70% of your dmg if you have improved duel wielding. a 2hander would lose 30% dmg. Even if you get 4 attacks in when a 2hander would get 1, you still deal less dmg, assuming your weaps are equal. I assume that if you want to duel wield, you just want to see losts of attacks, but not care about the dmg.
This is realy off topic, we are supposed to be talking about a shield. Yeah, it's nice, but grow up. So a warr doesn't get a shield like this. Would you WANT one? Anyway, you get almost an entire gear replacement. Fire hardened coif, hauberk, legings, etc... Want to give that up for a shield that you'll just vendor anyway? And it's not like you'll be using it long. You'll replace it within 6 lvls if you haven't laready vendored it.

Lol if anyone says a paladin -50 paladin cant tank i will kill my self lol. I am a protection paladin which helps alot but thanks to the new updates i have about 5 if not 6 aggro abilities and im a level 30
i am what i like to call a tank/ off hand healer in other words i heal myself if im about to die. But while i was doin an istance we had a 35 warrior, no offence to warriors but this guy could not tank at all so i had to take over and we finnished the instance in 20mins (Gnomer)

ok guys it doesnt realy matter u either like warriors better or u like paladins..personaly i like paladins cuz they can heal them selfs but u warriors arent as high and migty as u think and neither are us pallys

If neone has played a ret paladin like they should then they shouldnt be at the top of ne dps charts. I have ret paladin and i end up having to backup heal to save whipes often and i drop on the dps charts. Only reason those DPS specific classes have to worry about it doing damage, whereas a dps paladin would get gripped at for not passing a few heals around. Not to menchion when u put ur talent points in as a ret paladin once u get 41 in the ret tree u start putting them in holy cuz u have to back up heal. Also, when i am in functional groups where i dont have to save whipes i am at the top of all dps charts........only mark hunters consistently beat me(and mages if there r a lot of mobs). Oh and as for warriors.....never lost to one.
