I dont know how can you say this is not a good robe... I mean sure you can buy much better at lvl 15-16 but blizzard didn't made the game for alts with money... I had about 15s when I got this quest... god damn i worn a white linen robe till lvl 15... What's a mage wihtout intelligence? WTF are you guys arguing about!

Hmm, I dont get how people can say people with alts buying gear are getting it for nothing O.O they earnt the gold one way or another but this is a fairly nice robe so meh, if and when I go back to Loch Modan to complete the chain I'll pick it up then but tbh buying gear from the AH isn't a bad thing =/..

Oh and the person who says d/e mats are the same price of the items =/ not true, buying 2g Greens off AH dropping 5 arcane dust selling for 2g each? Big profit. And people dont usually d/e things to sell em but to use them to enchant their own gear..off your high horse yet?

You can get this quest for mages at level 16 if your on the horde side, and I'm thinking only if your undead. It's pretty easy.

The first quest is "Investigate the Alchemy Shop", which is given by Undercity mage trainer Anastasia Hartwell. That will be followed by "Gathering materials" and you'll get this robe as a quest reward. I don't know if it can be picked from anywhere else.

Almost an equal one with this is Simple robe of the Whale. My undead mage has both of these but I can't remember how many stamina or spirit or whatever it includes. I might have looted it from Kolkar Stormer in the Barrens or a random creature in Silverpine Forest.

Every undead mage will find this quest and get the Spellfire Robes easily.

edit. The Alliance version for this robe is the Manaweave Robe.

You can get this at lvl 15, and no you dont have to be undead, im troll and ive done it.
