oh WOW. the beauty of this item is...there IS no cooldown. downside is ive only been able to locate 10 of them in the game. but they are great for dispelling DoTs. GL!

I got this today when completing a quest I did not know I had in the Blue Recluse. I talked to the master chef, and he gave me a feast and moist towelette. A tonne of awesome food and drink.

Anyone know if these remove curses as well? Specifically wondering if it'll remove the curse that Artorius in Winterspring puts on you during the hunter epic quest. I know restorative potions take care of that but i'm wondering if these towelettes will work too...

The mechanic attached to it is:

Dispel (All(M+C+D+P))

Which likely means that it does dispel magic, curses, disease, and poison

As far as I can see, the higher the level of the debuff, the less the chance these will dispell it. I had these lying around in a semi-retired character's bank for about a year before I discovered them and put them in my inventory. Then, as I was grinding Twilight Flamereavers in Silithus (~lvl 60) I decided to try them out on that annoying Immolate (magic debuff) they cast.

Well, the statistics aren't that good. It took me seven tries for it to dispell once. Having three left, I rode over to Lakkari Tar Pits and had the Tar Lurkers (~lvl 53) cast Black Sludge on me (disease debuff). The Towelettes worked three in three tries.

Take these unscientific observations as you want, I know that I'm not very impressed with them, and don't really regret spending the whole stack in a single evening.

Well I don't know about you guys but I didn't get it from that Smokey quest or anything. I got it from a dude in the Blue Recluse Tavern in Stormwind because I apparently did some quests for his son and associate in Dustwallow Marsh. Now I got this towellete and it seems there's no charges on it. Haven't used it on me yet but it would be great if it would remove curses and not have charges. I'm ok with any cooldown as long as I can use it when I want. I didn't get a stack of ten, I got just one. There's no number beside it.

I don't know how useful these are...I was trying to use them up so I went to grind in Blasted Lands, and the Towelette wouldn't even remove the Venom Sting from a 47 Scorpok Stinger. I think the guy above got lucky with his lvl 53 mobs. I think it is meant for even lower mobs :(

It's official, this item is Soulbound when recieved. And worst of all...

ONE charge only. :(

I would reccomend hanging onto it just to link for a laugh now and then, but once you Use it, It's gone for good :/

Tried using this on the Demonic Doom cast by Artorius in Winterspring (Hunter epic quest).

Worked once out of 7 tries, the rest of the time it did nothing. No cooldown, so you can spam it until it works if you really want, but it's a bit of a waste since you only ever get 10 of these. :(

Does the towelette have more than 1 charge. or myabe a cooldown time, or is it once use only?
