I heartily disagree with the 20% drop rate listed here. As a level 38 shaman doing this quest, I just killed in the area of 25 dragon whelps and only got 2 dust.

I'd say the droprate on these are a bit off when it comes to the other mobs listed here than the whelps. Just finished this quest and the droprate is about 15% on both the whelps and the wyrmkin. The percentages are probably a bit off because people rarely kill the wyrmkin for this quest item.

The Green Wrymkin had great drop rates for about the first 6 and then I couldn't get them drop another one. Plus they take forever to respawn.

Dragon Whelps were the same way. First couple dropped quickly, then I had to kill a lot more to get the last two I needed. But, at least there were more of them to kill.

Coord: 14,60 in Swamp of Sorrows. Got all 10 for the quest in 21 kills.

these drop rates are completely wrong, they can't be above 40 percent for green wyrmkin and whelps

The drop rate on the whelps is ~10% and on all other dragons ~15%, I believe those numbers are off private servers or are just from bad data.

It's more like Khadgar's Essays on Dimensional Convergence droprate which is 8% at most.
