I started this one with a lvl 23 Hunter; I found it fairly easy except I only found one (1) bunch of Bathran's Hair. I imagine if I were a herbalist I could find it but I'm a skinner and leatherwork person. The number of Bathran's Hair bundles may be a quest bug or my slowness.

The hair can be taken from plant bundles scattered around the area. They don't glitter at all so you have to look carefully.

While completing this quest, I found that putting the camera into First-Person View made this quest alot easier: I was able to look around on the ground and find the bundles of hair close-up.

I play with very high zoom out, and I pretty much cleared the whole area out once before finding a single one. After that I zoomed in very tight and they got much much easier to see.

Eh, it's not a problem at all with the camera zoomed out... it's like oldschool herbing.

After you see what it looks like, you'll find a ton!

I know that won't help too many people... but if you herbed in vanilla you'll know what to do :).

If it helps any, these herb bundles don't look like plants and they also don't sparkle like other quest-related items. They look like tiny gray bags, usually sitting next to a patch of mushrooms or logs. They blend in pretty well, making them hard to see.

These are located in little grayish brown sacks spread throughout Bathran's haunt called plant bundles.

Heres a tip, all of the plant bundles ( which contains brathans hair) are located around the sides, so just follow the edge and you'll find them...

Shows up as a yellow dot on the mini-map if you have Pick Herbs turned on. Picked from the ground "Plant Bundle" - shows a cog.

** Maybe I just got lucky but this one respawned for me with 30 seconds
after picking it several times... got 4 picks off this one location

Even though it shows up as green for me at level 24, it was hard for me to gather the stuff mostly cause mobs form very easily and will hit you fast enough to prevent you from casting any heals. Try this as a group for sure or be patient at pulling each guy one at a time.

Pick them up from the ground, look for "plant bundle", there are at least 4, probably a lot more.
