It appears Blizzard is yet again naming an item after an influential person in the Warcraft community: Toskk of Toskk's DPS Gear Method for Feral Druids fame. And it does seem that these bracers are maximized for feral druid cat DPS, as Crit, AP and ArP are amoung the best "Equip:" stats for us, and an Agility socket bonus, too. A red socket might have been truly maximal, but you can't have everything.

(Edit: Actually, yellow-gem stats like haste and hit become useful for high-end min/maxing kitties who have reached caps or diminishing return tipping points on ArP, Agility and Crit. So maybe this IS maximized. But those druids will probably be getting the Heroic version anyway!)

Toskk did retire from WoW in August of 2009. He was a great guild mate and fantastic Druid. There was nobody more dedicted to Mazimizing cat DPS, that I knew of anyway. All the members of Blacklisted (Kael'Thas) will miss his raid pressence and sunny never salty attitude. Thank you Blizz for honoring a great Druid and even better person.

BiS pre ICC heroic for Warriors too, though I suppose that makes sense as Cats and Warriors are the only 100% physical DPS players.

The difference being that the leather "tributes" are good, the Plate Helm is sharded/burnt in a fire.*

These gloves are far better than any similar plate dps wrists in terms of stats. These waste points on stamina and excess hit and these, well they need no explaining from a warrior's POV. (Maybe the haste will be nice got Cata)

This is the ONLY lvl264 bracers available in icc25. Another lvl264 drops from sindragosa in icc10hc.
