Finally 2.3 brings a decent reward for this quest. It was always so disappointing to do this long quest line and end up with a terrible reward.

Formerly 8 stamina and 8 spirit green buffed with added 11 spell damage.

A note to 39 twinks... If you have more than 1/3 exp when starting this chain, start to finish, with rested exp bonus and 2.3 exp buff... you will probably level out of 39. I started this at 1/3 exp into 39, killing only the required mobs for quest items, finished with 90% exp. Group up with a 70 friend, the exp gained from killing monsters will be reduced.

To get the shard you need to do a three step quest serie starting with https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=642. You need to be at least lvl 33 to do the whole quest chain.

Just got this on my Warlock. Took plenty of time to do both quest chains, especially since Fozruk is kinda hard to find. But this piece more than made up for the time I put in. I'm a very happy Lock, seeing as how I didn't have a neck piece before now.

To be honest, this particular neck piece is actually a good option for a 49 twink bracket as well for all cloth wearers out there!

A lot of these quests are not about the item you get, but rather the exp. About 20,000 exp for this chain is not bad in the grand scale.

You go through ALL of that and the reward you get is useless. Got 50-something silver for it after vendoring it five minutes later.

The reward item here should be MUCH better than this crap.

Lol all of you who say this reward is bad is pretty much wrong in my opinion.

For casters this is great !

As a warlock , stamina is importent in wich it quite useful for everybody. Not only that, it also gives 11 Extra DMG !. No other neck that i have seen gives that much DMG , its actually the only 1 i've seen that gives extra dmg for spells.
Mages ? A mage would love the extra 11 dmg wich is quite nice. And stamina, everybody could use that, and well the spirit .. yea its OK :P.
I would say that this reward is mostly good for casters. For meelers, i can see why you doesn't like the reward, but 8 stam ain't that bad is it? And u gotta think about other classes then your own sometimes :)

Anyone can get this at level 35 after going through Arathi and the Badlands.

Compare that to the Arcane Crystal Pendant, which is obtained from a mage-only quest line at level 50 after going through Azshara and the Temple of Atal'Hakkar.

The latter is only somewhat more powerful. Getting this on the way to the Crystal Pendant or something similar for non-mages isn't a bad idea.

This item is BiS for caster twinks at lvl 39 in TBC. Has the same stats as in Classic, but it gives 11 heal and spell power
