20 teeth indeed. This item is the reward of a quest given by your baby Venomhide. It is used overall to complete the quest to obtain a ravasaur mount. This requires you to have 20 teeth, 80 gold, and 20 rugged leather.(thanks other posts for this intel.)

Yes this is the reason why they gave Alliance:

Druids a Vanish (Shadowmeld in combat + cat/bird + stealth/fly away ect)
2-4 days to get unique mount (takes horde a min of 20 days)
Easy mode AV.
ect ect ect I can go on..

As you can see Blizz def hates Alliance in favor of Horde. I mean with game breaking advantages like these given to the Alliance, people have a reason to complain. /end sarcasm

On a side note.. Saw someone get this mount the other night. Looks like a troll mount with unique horn.

If you faction change, these will remain in your bag, but the venomhide hatchling will be removed.
