This and multiple other gems are going to be in the new Fishing Daily. They will be a low chance of getting one but it will be like the Eye of the Sea From BC Fishing Daily but the new ones will be BoP - so they can not be sold.

Cross your fingers and hope you get lucky and get your gem(s) you are looking for.

WotLK daily fishing quest reward.

In patch 3.1 Marcia Chase in Dalaran starts daily fishing quests that reward a Bag of Fishing Treasures. This bag has a chance to contain a Stormjewel. As of patch 3.1, the only epic WotLK gems are these Stormjewels, Kharmaa's Grace and the jewelcrafting-only gems. The Stormjewels are not Bind on Pickup, so they can be sold or traded. You can however socket only 1 of any Stormjewel in your equipment at the same time. An epic Stormjewel provides a +4 statistic improvement over its rare counterpart (+6 for the stamina version).

Red
Bold Stormjewel - +20 Strength
Delicate Stormjewel - +20 Agility
Runed Stormjewel - +23 Spell Power

Yellow
Brilliant Stormjewel - +20 Intellect
Rigid Stormjewel - +20 Hit Rating

Blue
Solid Stormjewel - +30 Stamina
Sparkling Stormjewel - +20 Spirit

According to the drop rates shown for this item, this stormjewel apparently has a lower drop-rate than the other 6 stormjewels. This is congruous with my server; the Brilliant Stormjewel has never been seen on auction, where the other 6 are commonly listed. Can anyone confirm this scarcity?

Just received this as a fishing quest reward. I do not have the ability to pick a lock so it did not come in a box, just by itself. Very nice indeed.
