Seeing as the Enchanting and Alchemy fire resist items have dropped from the Skeletal Runesmiths as well, I think we can assume, based on the pattern for the rest of the resist lining, that the Runesmiths are probably the only source for these.

It does seem much rarer though.

Here are the mobs that drop resist recipes for Alchemy (mighty protection potion), Enchanting (cloak enchant), and Leatherworking (fur lining):

Damned Apothecary (Frost)
Cult Alchemist (Nature)
Cultist Shard Watcher (Shadow)
Skeletal Runesmith (Fire)

It dropped for me on the 3rd group of mobs I killed around 60,73
Probably the easiest random-drop recipe to farm :)

It's also unique. Was doing the quest mentioned above and grabbed a group of about 10 of them, when I started looting 2 windows showed up to roll. But only one deposited into my inventory.

Out of the 5 patterns this was the easiest for me to pick up. The drop rate seemed as per the other 4 - between 25-100 kills. BUT I used a lovely technique to keep killing the mobs (the respawn pretty quickly) and got the pattern within a few minutes. Basically the Skeletal Runesmiths work around a long ledge 8 of them - 4 on each side. I jumped onto the ledge and aggroed all 8 (plus the undead master) I then AoE'd the mobs. When the came too close. I jumped back down. The mobs have to go the long way round the ledge (ramp sort of thing) :) and as they came back round I jumped back up. If you have ranged attacks you can kill them on the way back up to the ledge. Un-dead easy!
