Is the item level on this accurate? I'm comparing it to another ilvl 175 item: https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=43177

This ring has +3 stamina, +15 intellect and +14 spell power. It also has 35 critical strike rating compared to 24 hit rating (+11 rating). I was under the impression that critical strike rating and hit rating had the same item budget. Unless hit rating suddenly got its item budget cost increased like crazy, this item is vastly superior to Voodoo Signet at the same item level.

This ring is indeed vastly overpowered judging by its item level. It's even better than many lv200 blue rings and comparable to some of lv200 epic rings if you need crit

Having an impossibly hard time replacing this as a Holy Paladin. The high level of intellect, spell power and crit rating make it better than most ilvl 200 epic rings.

I'll probably wind up picking one up though if it has the stat types I need just because the nerf axe will surely hit this.

There are only 4 rings with similar stats and all but this are ilvl 213 or beyond.

why did ppl have to bring this to blizz's attention..... so what if it is overpowered, nobody runs oculus anyways... and most ppl do it on heroic first time and usually have epics or still better rings than this one >.<

I was wearing this ring when I got the Superior achievement, so there's no way it's ilvl 175.

At the moment this ring is nerfed significantly @ 3.1 PTR

New Stats:

25 stam
34 Int
Equip: Increases spell power by 40
Equip: Improves Critical strike rating by 26
