Not a bad chestpiece for any tank attempting to raid.

Together with the sword, cloak and boots of the same faction you can build a decent threat-building set.

Along with the boots, this breasplate is a good reason for plate tanks to put on their Wyrmrest tabards.

My Protadin put on his Wyrmrest tabard and won't take it off until I get the rep for the chest and boots. If you're honored with Wyrmrest then the cloak is absolutely amazing.

I can't decide wheter I get this nice chestplate, or stay with my https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=34939 (I've got the 22def enchant on it) It'll give me some nice stam and def. But I'll lose dodge and Block Value (which is kinda rare on WotLK items). As a prot pally Expertise isn't very high on my ''I need loads''-list.
At moment of writing I'm below 540 def.

This is an all around great item for you tanks out there. It has a nice amount of stamina, defense, and even expertise. I HIGHLY recommend that you pick this baby up as soon as you can.

I can't tell you how many tanks tell me, "I don't need expertise, I'd rather have some more dodge or defense." While having more dodge is great, I wouldn't turn your back on getting expertise either. There are several other items out there to beef up your dodge and defense.

Get this item, you will not regret it! Even if you're a human using a tanking sword, get this anyways! It's not too hard to get at all. Once you get your Argent Crusade rep up to revered, start using your Wyrmcrest tabard in your heroics.
