Used to be the best leg piece a warrior can get his hands on anywhere for dps, even better than the T7 piece.

Now that these were nerfed (they removed the arm pen), it's close between these and the T7, with the T7 looking slightly better unless you need hit.
I think they should have left it as is, a fitting reward for a tough 2-drake fight vs a drop from an easy boss (T7 legs).

Is it just me or does this item seems really over-budgeted compared to the tier legs, or even this: https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=40318 which is the same ilevel. I mean, the Belabored Legplates has more stats in every single area and an extra 42 hit rating...

After the nerf, the item budgets seem to be in line with other Sarth2D 10m drops, which are slightly worse than Naxx 25m loot. These pants, like the Great Ring of Collision are very sta heavy.

What ever happened to "risk vs reward"? This is sad, since 10m Malygos drops slightly better than Naxx 25m quality loot and I'd say this is the 3rd hardest encounter in WotLK currently, behind Sarth3D 10m and Sarth3D 25m as it requires a very specific mix of classes with a very limited number raid spots.

I agree that the budget seemed high, but that's normal with items with a wide spread of stats. Something with str, sta, and crit would seem to have a smaller budget than something with str, sta, crit, and expertise, and so on. Lets hope that Blizzard lessens the nerf and buffs the ilvl 213 loot to be at least on par with Maly 10m loot.

By far the best leg piece a warrior can get his hands on anywhere at the moment for dps, even better than the T7 piece.

The stats may have been better then the T7, but you can never discount the value of the set bonus

These leggings are very poorly budgeted now compared to their tier 7.5 counterpart, despite being the same ilvl. 50 points are wasted in stamina (33.3 if you wanna get technical..), and are at best, a sidegrade if not a downgrade for many plate classes. This makes me very sad indeed, given the challenging nature of the encounter.
