An interesting thing about this belt.
Its the only item in all of WotLK that has additional armour on it.

Additional armour was depreciated due to the nature that druids got so much mileage out of it, they wouldn't wear anything but items with additional armor, leading to additional itemization issues.

The interesting thing is that were not the only class that gets a bonus from armor. There's a new plate class that gets 60% more armour in tanking stance, the death-knight.

This might actually be a rather good belt for them. And unlike most of their stats that make them dodge tanks, this one gives a nice flat mitigation on each blow, making them both easier to heal and harder to kill.

Or if your a jewelcrafter, add an eternal belt buckle, socket a dragon's eye with a defense rating rating stat and your good to go.

This belt currently has the most armor value than any other belt in the game.

I must say, I have had chances to "upgrade" this belt but decided not to! It may be the best belt in the game. It gives a buff every once in awhile...cant remember what it is because I havent played this toon in about a month, I'll get back to you.
