This was my first upgrade from https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=34896 - lower stats, but the crit, mp5, and slight increase in spellpower make up for that.

The https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=44052 is pretty good and quite easy to get to revered with the kula'ak. Crit is more important for priests now and my old gear is very lacking in it. That, the mp5, and the fact that it is free dispose me towards the screw-sprung. I never mind spending money on good gear but either will be replaced relatively soon after you hit 80 so hard to justify even relatively cheap purchases.

I took this mace on my shaman after just respeccing elemental. Finally an upgrade over my Kara mace =)

As a Holy Paladin I stuck with my Saronite Spellblade but you cant go wrong either way
