Not only do i have to smelt this stuff into a coffin shaped bar..
But I also have to put a skull and designs on each and everyone of these buggers...

As of patch 3.0.8, all this takes is 8 saronite bars.

Placing a stack of these on the AH costs about 13g for 48 hours, so selling them in trade is a way better way to sell them. Especially because people don't always go to the AH in wrath.

What bugs me is why people clutter up the AH by offering these for the same price the vendors pay. A stack of 20 gets 25g from the vendors. Why go to the trouble when all it does is drag down the AH prices?

You get about 16 of these Bars from Skinning (with Engineering) XT and Flame Leviathan in Ulduar. Both 25 and 10. Along with some Eternals and other white rarity Engineering Materials.

because if they sold 20 to the vendor for 25 gold then it would be wasting their time and effort, if they sell 20 to someone on the AH for 25 gold then they make some money and someone uses it, people put it on the AH for that low because 1. they have the money cap and find the AH amusing, or 2. they aren't greedy bastards
